Icon79: Well, I am not surprised. Our boys can compete when you provide them a level playing field; unfortunately, this isn't always the case when they move to Euro leagues. We need to develop our own league so that our players can do away with all those slave contracts they tend to enter in Europe.
O pari Haba bro Europe league is a priority, even Egyptians that have a better league they tend to move to Europe |

Icon79: Well, he might actually be better than the guy who benched him but remember that, as a foreigner (especially an African), you gotta be twice as good as the native (or the white guy) in order to start ahead of him.
Sad but true.
O pari I think it's the coach decision, the former bursaspor coach got love for African players, former bursaspor coach is the former coach of cameroun national team |

Icon4s: Rohr is not likely to play Shehu at DM. At least not at this stage of preparations. Rohr has a good list of DM options. Yes bros that's true |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by mbjane: 7:01pm On May 01, 2018 |
Joebie: And why is that? Shehu is a regular in Bursaspor with an MOTM performance. Has Onazi had a better season? Why Onazi if they are both looking at par in camp? Bros me and you know onazi will start ahead of shehu as far as it's DM,not that onazi is having a better season, there are other options in DM na,shehu belong to right back |

Joebie: He will make the 30 man list on merit. Today Ekong is warming bench as well. They will both make the list on merit. But let’s consider this scenario in camp before the Argentina match . If you are Rohr and U are facing a selection headache between Shehu and Onazi before match day, who would u choose? Ekong started warming bench now which is almost end of the league,if he keep on warming the bench next season I am sorry to say he will not be a regular. I will choose onazi ahead of shehu |

Joebie: Cool down brother we both agree he deserves to be in the team. Are u saying his WC experience is not also an added advantage? He is not playing badly bro just as we both said,Bt imagine if he is a typical bench warmer will you call for his world up experience ? |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by mbjane: 4:24pm On May 01, 2018 |
Joebie: Don’t tell me not to say what I didn’t say in the first place.
He hasn’t played badly so why are u insinuating he does not deserve to be in the team. All I was trying to say was that Onazi also brings WC experience to whatever he has done. He has serious competition, fine. But Talking of Oboabona’s WC experience is out of context and I’ve already told u why. Where did I say he does not deserve to be in the team? If you can't show me that then you don't know what you are saying. I said onazi deserve to be in the team because he is playing well and not because of World Cup experience,World Cup experience doesn't gurantee a player shirt,I don't know if you can understand me and show me where I said onazi doesn't deserve to be in the team ? Concerning oboabona I am just making example o,oboabona ke |

Joebie: Onazi is in the team today based on merit. Oboabona has long fallen off the radar. Don’t talk out of context. I am not speaking out of context okay Yes onazi deserves to be in the team, but don't tell me because someone has World Cup experience he should be in a team,if you play well you deserve to be in the team and if you don't play well you don't deserve to be there so forget about this World Cup experience of a thing. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by mbjane: 1:19pm On May 01, 2018 |
Joebie: The question really is who is better today. Onazi comes with WC experience. He is also young, but what is his current form? Who will partner Ndidi is the question. Ogu is also pretty good. Competition is a good thing. Rohr will decide who is best before Match time. Forget world Cup experience if you are good you are good, onazi is okay and he might start at the World Cup. But because someone has World Cup experience he must be at the World Cup? Make dem call back oboabona Na if na so. When Spain won the World Cup in 2010 if I can remember Sergio busquets and Gerard pique has no World Cup experience and they are solid and they played all minutes of the tournament. |

goldfish80: Obviously you haven't been following my opinion on Onazi on this thread. At a point, some people thought he was my brother, that's how much I've defended him here.
If Onazi must start, he should loose atleast 10 kilos,if I was the coach. His laboured breathing and lack of pace could be disastrous at the Worldcup. It will be footballing malpractice if he starts ahead of fitter players. He started last game for trabzonspor but the guy don fat and not all games he start they normally rotate him and he sits on the bench most time for 90 minute |

safarigirl: I've had a lot of thinking time today and realised that I have erred a lot recently.
Without going into any unnecessary explanation, I would like to send an unreserved apology to andrew44 for my harsh words to him, I'm very sorry about the way everything escalated. Sorry for insulting your person, I allowed my ange get the best of me and I'm sorry.
I also want to apologise to sir komekn once again, for reading your intentions wrong. We don't always see eye to eye, so I may have read your posts with a biased eye. I sincerely apologise for that and j promise that it will never happen again.
I also want to apologise to this thread and its members for all the drama this week. I was responsible for derailing this thread and failing to respect the opinions of some members. So, I apologise to everyone.
As much as I can, I will refrain from getting into any confrontations on this thread henceforth. Safari girl God bless you I am really short of words |

safarigirl: please, it is too late for all these ones
Voting ends in less than 24-hours, all this disappointment is highly unnecessary, neither is the "after all we did for you" line. This is a competition, when you reach the finals, people will throw who they need to throw under the bus.
Team Tobi have been maligning Team CeeC this entire week, Team CeeC has been going hard on Tolex, Team Miracle has dragged virtually everybody because there is no friend in the jungle.
Never expect too much from anybody, just leave them. Sunday will determine if it was all worth it, cuz I don't see why you people are still feeling disappointed by the same Team that has been dragging Tobi since last month Safari I sight you so you dey here self. |

There is fair play, westham used it to play in the Europa some seasons back, burnley is playing in Europa league next season Fair play means team with less caution like yellow and red card But if Southampton win the fa cup burnley will not make the Europa league. |

Their team are not weak, just say they are not playing well. The last time I check Argentina have better players than Brazil. Otamendi? He bossed mancity defence to premier league title ,garay of Valencia? Mercado of Sevilla? Banega? They are too plenty to call,I won't even call the frontline even icardi might not go to the World Cup because of some issues |
