It's revelations like this that makes me realise and accept the fact that Nigeria will never move forward if there isn't a revolution. Bloody or bloodless, it has to take place. And this is just the rubbish being pepetrated in the Legislative arm, imagine the scam going on in the executive and judicial arms. Governance in Nigeria is a total scam. |
Well I don't blame buhari, you cant expect a dullard to exhibit a certain level of intelligence, i blame his supporters who are either 1. Part of the problem, 2. The problem or 3. Benefit from the problem. They have to belong to one of the above. Cause when a c** find itself as the king of the jungle, then there is a big problem. |
To Lisa Martha: I sympathize with you , I hope u can find it in you to 4give and move on. Look at it as an act of charity, u fed a family, yes admittedly under false guise but atleast u r alive. Some peeps who experienced much less weren't so lucky so shine ur eyes next time. Its really shit being a victim. Nelson: I hope u r alive, u have no excuse whatsoever. Extremely poor judgement on your part. Yes the country, our leaders and d society have failed you but must u fail urself. If u do survive this storm then try and use more of the ingenuity in the rite side of ur brain. Its obvious u r smart, but resist the temptation for this easy mony syndrome overtaking our society. It might take time but u don't get to get shamed on social media. To the rest of Us: he that is without sin, cast the first stone. We are reaping what the society sowed and we are complaining. Its only in Nigeria where we celebrate corrupt and greedy politician who obcenely display wealth while carting away our common wealth with pen and paper while shaming the youths who indulge in same but on a much smaller scale. Aren't they the product of this society. At least from what i can sense, his overriding motive was survival which is much better that the greed and selfishness that drives our leaders and politicians of today. There is so much poverty and hopelessness in this country that the fact he didn't resort to more sinister avenue just to survive is a miracle. Yes he should pay for this bad judgement and he will, but after that what next? If he goes to jail and does come out he is not gonna be reformed, oh yes nigerian jail is not some european jail that reforms you and grants you skills for integration into a sane society, he is more likely to be a hardened criminal with high tendency for a violent crime and guess who the victims would be then, yep!! You and I and an unlucky version of Lisa Martha. As we shame him, let's also shame the crooks and thieves we have as politician and leaders. Our society has a strong value system but its quickly eroding thanks to the set off leadership and governance we have now, in a few years time youths like Nelson will become the other of the day if it isn't already. 2019 is around the corner, no to recycled politicians. |
Nigeria!! I am convinced that we are incapable of good and accountable governance. 4get restructuring, 4get breaking up the country, 4get resource control. Even restructuring with this same set of human being at the helms of power will get us nowhere. No to recycled politicians. I think we are better off with colonial powers, at least they will give us the governance required to progress as a nation. Look at Hong Kong!! Surely that's not a coincidence. There is need for a Referendum for colonial powers to come back. Black man no be am. |

Hmmh!! Na waoh! This practice now of detaining people without charge is un becoming. And the amazing thing is that the national assembly and the judiciary are just watching while the presidency and it's agency just ignore every basic law in the book. Why? Is it because u guys to have a lot of skeletons in ur cupboard, why can't u call these people to order. There is a dangerous precedent being set here and I fear this miscarriage won't just end with peeps of the last administration. I suspect Olisah embezzled money, but since when did my suspicion or that of buhari ever convict someone of a crime. What is wrong with the presidency and it's agencies. Arresting and perpetually detaining people without gathering evidence and charging them to court suggest that the agenda of the presidency is much more sinister than merely fighting corruption. EFCC chairman do your job the proper way and stop being a pawn or showing us how incompetent u guys are. Buhari's administration would come to an end one day, after that what next. I don't understand, the same court whose ruling on releasing other accused detainees is being ignored is the same court that is expected to hear and rule on the cases of the accused. So what happens if the court finds them not guilty. Please Judiciary, dismiss the cases of any body being brought under these circumstances, simply on the grounds that rule of law wasn't adhered to and that individual rights were grossly violated.National Assembly, it's high time u consider passing a law that authorises the citizenry to use lethal force in defense of their freedom from these agencies who subvert the rule of law to accomplish their sinister motives. There is wisdom behind search warrant and arrest warant oh!. Hmmmh! |
Reduce it some more, what abt N2.5m? |
How much last nau? I have N2m. |
Hmm! Na waoh oh. waiting for directive from the president for the next course of action?!! So the presidency is now taking the role of Judge, Jury and executioner. Smh!!, God save Nigeria. |
Bobbystanley:speak for yourself, am sure if there was a referendum conducted today by ibo's, majority would push against biafra for now. so speak for yourself. what you do with little determines what will be done with much, and given the little opportunities and resources that have been missused and mismanaged by the south east, whats the guarantee that it will be more judicious when all our eggs are in a basket. personally I don't believe there is a need for a biafra state at this point. u speak of being a slave, as far as am concerned the south east is being held to ransom by a bunch of incompetent, selfish governors and leaders, and who elects them? you and I! . has any southeast state been denied their federal allocations? apart from enugu, which other south east state can be described as a model state . Instead of agitating for biafra at this point, the best course of action is to put our house in order, demand more from the elected officials in the southeast and hold them accountable, use the little resources we have to develop ourselves and our states. as at today i dont see any current generational ibo leader in the Azikiwe mold that is selfless, that we can trust and unite behind or that would inspire hope and would guarantee that a biafra state would not end up as a failed state. Pls if there is enlighten me. That said everyone and anyone has the right to peaceful agitation, even if its for a biafran state and thats why it would be greatly disturbing if anything negative happens to the nnamdi guy. Scotland just concluded their referendum on independence and I didn't hear of anyone being detained or murdered. I don't know what the national government did to sway their vote but I am but sure it wasn't through intimidation and threats. Just my humble opinion. |
