Actress, Omoni Oboli took to her IG page to thank God for saving her life and that of her production manager after the room they were sleeping in caught fire.

The fire started from a faulty AC and they were able to put out the fire but not before it destroyed some of her properties.

This God is too good! Magnify the Lord with me, my people! Still shook but I'm constantly in awe of my King! God loves me. Nobody can tell me otherwise!

Since after the series of incidences that happened earlier in the year, I sometimes have panic attacks so my darling ever dependable @tomesadeoye abandoned her room and has been sleeping in mine. I've been nursing a very bad cold for days so I took night nurse to enable sleep. Power went off at some point in the night and Tomi who usually can sleep in the heat, got uncomfortable and couldn't sleep. I, on the other hand, didn't notice because I was in a drug-induced sleep. Around 5am, the power came back on and Tomi happily fell asleep. She hadn't slept for long when she started perceiving something, she opened her eyes to see the AC engulfed in flames. She screamed at me to wake up. I saw the flames and screamed 'The blood of Jesus'. Ran into the bathroom to get water but I didn't think I was fast enough, so I abandoned it cos I realized the AC is right by the door and if it gets any worse, I wouldn't be able to leave the room. I told Tomi to call the editor (I have an editing suite in my home and we are editing WOS so the editor moved in) she screamed his name and he came rushing upstairs. We all ran downstairs to get the fire extinguisher, couldn't operate it and proceeded to turn off electricity from the circuit breaker. Tomi went back up and screamed that the fire was a lot worse. Idris (the editor) and Paul (my gateman) started carrying buckets of water and soap upstairs. By this time, they couldn't even get into the room because the fire was too much. They started pouring water from the door. I want to say that we definitely had angelic assistance because, in less than 10 mins, they put out an electrical fire with water and soap! I know God sent His angels God has been too good to me this year! I'm so unworthy of His grace upon my life. I'm so unfaithful yet He remains faithful! I bow before your majesty my Father. All that I am, all I will ever be, I give to you Lord. Thank God for our lives. If we had woken up just 3 minutes after we did, we would not have been able to leave the room. #ChildOfGrace #GodIsGood

Famous American gay couple, Kordale Lewis, 29, and Kaleb Anthony, share their everyday lifestyle on the internet.

The couple rose to social media stardom in January 2014 after a photo of the two of them brushing their daughters' hair for school went viral.

Kordale and Kaleb who met in 2009 and moved in together have four children together, Desmiray, 11, Maliyah, 10, Kordale Jr, 9 and baby Caleb IV, 1. They welcomed their kids through their friend Destany, who has been their biggest supporter for the past twelve years.

Members of the Senate have donated 1,280 bags of rice to the unpaid workers in the Kogi State civil service. The gesture came after Senator Dino Melaye who represents Kogi Wests senatorial district in the Senate, brought the plight of the workers who are being owed many months salaries, to the floor of the house yesterday October 25th. Dino announced the kind gesture when he addressed members of the National Assembly press corp.

“Today, I drew the attention of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the plight of civil servants in my native Kogi State following the recent disturbing reports of deaths by suicide and inability to pay medical bills by some workers. I’m happy to report to you that my colleagues in the Senate have immediately responded by donating bags of rice and other essential items to the workers in order to cushion the biting effects of non-payment of their salaries by the Kogi State government. The donation, which amounted to 1,280 bags of rice as of today, and others that will follow later, will be handed over to the Kogi State chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress for onward distribution to the most vulnerable workers who need immediate assistance.”

According to Dino, those that donated include Senators Atai Aidoko (PDP, Kogi-East) donated 70 bags while Danjuma Goje (APC, Gombe-Central), Peter Nwaoboshi (PDP, Delta-North), Ibrahim Gobir (APC, Sokoto-East) and Buruji Kashamu (PDP, Ogun-East) donated 50 bags each, Senator Isah Shuaib Lau (APC, Taraba-North) donated 40 bags of rice while Senators Ahmad Lawan (APC, Yobe-North), Ahmed Ogembe (PDP, Kogi-Central), Usman Nafada (APC, Gombe-North), Rafiu Ibrahim (APC, Kwara-South), and Stella Oduah (PDP, Anambra-North) and gave 30 bags, with Philip Aduda (PDP, FCT) adding 10 bags of fertiliser.

Those who donated 20 bags include Senators Tayo Alasoadura (APC, Ondo-Central), Umaru Kurfi (APC, Katsina-Central), Tijjani Kaura (APC, Zamfara-North), Sam Anyanwu (PDP, Imo-East), Rose Oko (PDP, Cross River-North), Obinna Ogba (PDP, Ebonyi-Central), Bala Ibn N’Allah (APC, Kebbi-South), Jeremiah Useni (PDP, Plateau-South), Baba Kaka Garbai (APC, Borno-Central), Ali Wakili (APC, Bauchi-South), Sha’aba Lafiagi (APC, Kwara-North), Francis Alimikhena (APC, Edo-North), Abdullahi Gumel (APC, Jigawa North-West) and Mathew Urhoghide (PDP, Edo-South), among others.
