When was Any Federal job was base on Merit?

I did Civil defence recruitment last year and I got to screening stage but none of us that came for the screening that met and form a group chat was picked. And we keep asking ourselves what happened was it that all of us that came was not qualified for the job...

Don't be deceived, this FS recruitment will never be base on Merit. If you have someone that knows someone just start making your connection. Even the level 3 and 4 and 6 will not base on Merit. Just have godfather.

I understood what u are saying. I'm not an applicant, I'm already into one system but me saying level 08 won't be based on merit doesn't mean others would be based on merit. Just saying level 08 is going to be far competitive than others. I understand how the system works perfectly

For them to add Compass 04 yesterday and still left 08 unremoved should tell us that they know what they are doing. It's not a programming error because they are much aware of what's going on. The truth is they just don't want any crowd as it will be a very competitive position. If you don't even have a very strong connect don't waste your time because I'm sure that position is only for replacement and they opened it deliberately for some set of special people. You can also register but i guarantee it won't be base on merit

Level 14 if age no carry you. But why wait when you can further your study to hasten your promotion.

Remember say na private sector be this. if its a government job , he can still manage by taking some days off when he's broke. But private, nobody wan hear story. 130k is really paltry for a private sector to be honest most especially when you're spending almost 2k on transports everyday? 70k monthly is what you're left with, feeding nko, fuel for gen and other things? I doubt you'll be able to have any savings at the end of the month. Most times you will be in serious debt sef . 70k wey many private school teachers who trek to school to and fro everyday dey earn and are still complaining.

If you're earning 130k, you don't have a business owning a generator in this present economy . The government job that most people are dying to enter, most don't pay up to that for a start except from those class A or Class B jobs as you guys named them here . Immigration no go even pay you 130k as entry level. And mind you not every government job will allow you to be off from work because you are broke especially if you are a uniform personnel. Private work maybe tiring which i I'm 100 percent with you in that aspect but just know that some of us here are even looking for atall atall e bad pass. That 70k left for him after transportation is level 07 entire salary as a paramilitary officer wey get wife and pikin for house. Nobody is saying 130k job is a good pay, but claiming you are thinking of suicide is a big no for me. Infact God go reject your soul

Hmmmmmmmmmm. I don't want to say much. I know Olanrewaju to some extent. I'm not sure if he can still remember this name. But we've talked well on WhatsApp before. The guy is not a scammer and have a very pure heart. But unfortunately his connection got it wrong this time around. I've had dealings with his connect too personally before i even met Olanrewaju here and as i type too i still have some money that is hook. A scammer won't even have the time to respond back to you personally or here on nairaland, avoid giving people bad name just because it didn't work out. People shouting he should refund should understand better how this shit works. It's only when he's been refunded that he can also refund. And also remember that the person Olanrewaju paid to also paid to another person and goes like that till it reach the main source. Well that shit doesn't concern the person that paid Olanrewaju though since the money was being paid into Olanrewaju's account, but nevertheless let's exercise patience. If you go and use police to carry him today, he will only write an undertaken that this is how much he can afford to be refunding you per month or per 2 months or whatever and their is absolutely nothing you can do to that. You that paid for job and the person that you paid too are both criminals infront of the law. Know this and know peace ✌️

They won't shuffle anything. It might be the same requirements but what they want to employ them for are different. If you don't have the skills they needed, you won't be considered. I'm not assuming, I'm very sure of what I'm saying.

I will advise you to reapply again using different email and phone number. Because two things are involved:
1. You would be asked to present certificate of Trade for that position you applied for.
2. You would be given level 03 eventually you made it.

HND level 7 is 74k while BSC level 8 is 75k monthly.

ND is 52k.. Level 06 step 01
No descrimination in salary between HND and Bsc. 125k. Level 08 step 01.

I don't need to be their spokeperson before common sense should tell us organisations recruits base on the spaces available to be filled. The same Fire Service did a mass recruitment in 2018 and about 60 percent of who they recruited were Bsc/HND holders. They did replacement last year Nov/December and Bsc/HND holders were also among. Get enlightened and stop giving yourself unnecessary headaches

So, the job is for ND students, if you graduated from a university, you'll have to apply with SSCE to work under an ND holder. HND holders can still use their ND certificate.

You don't have a chance to upgrade later or else you go for your masters and present the certificate during promotional examination. Then with some huge some of money to push with the right connect
