translation motion is the movement of the whole body...rotation motion is the circular motion of a body at a fixed point.

Heat energy =mass × specific heat capacity ×temperature rise

Heat energy =power ×time

power × time = mass × specific heat capacity × temp.

2000 × time =2 × 4200 × (100-20)
time =336s

focal length = 10cm
image distance(V) =half of objet distance ie 1/2U
object distance = U

mirror formula

1/f= 1/U + 1/V
1/10 = 1/U + 2/U
1/10 = 3/U
U=30cm

but the question says the distance between the image and the object
i.e. image distance + object distance
remember the image distance is half the object distance
=30cm + 15cm =45cm
