Over 700 people died today in Hajj stampede in Mecca as thousands of people were walking to the 'stoning of the devil' ritual when a sudden surge in the crowd caused many to fall. An epileptic man has relived the horrific moment he was robbed as he lay unconscious on the ground covered in blood following a seizure.
The "despicable" crooks preyed on Anthony Cook after he suffered an attack follwing a visit to a cash machine.
And the 24-year-old said the crime would have been easier to deal with if the cowardly crooks had "knocked him out and mugged him".

Mr Cook left his home in the early hours of Tuesday morning to draw out £10 for a housemate who needed cash to get to work, reports the Liverpool Echo .
But, as he walked home from the cash machine in Liverpool, he suffered one of his regular seizures which can last several minutes and render him unconscious for up to 30 minutes.
As he lay unconscious and covered in blood on the floor a thief stole the cash he had drawn out, his iPod and his bank card.

He said: “I woke up delirious and walked home the wrong way because of the fit.
“When I checked my pockets, I couldn’t believe it and went home first to make sure I hadn’t forgotten to bring my things with me.
“I can’t believe someone would do that to me.
“It would be a lot easier to deal with what happened if someone had knocked me out and then mugged me.
"But, to think someone has come along, while I’m laying unconscious on the ground, and stolen from me - how can they have the audacity to do that to someone so vulnerable?”
Anthony, who suffered cuts and lost a tooth when he fell, called police who sent an ambulance to check him over.

Still shaken, Anthony says he is now too frightened for his safety to go out.
The graduate’s teaching career dreams were dashed two years ago when he was diagnosed with epilepsy, preventing him from teaching.
But Anthony is looking forward to starting a new job with Debenhams in Liverpool next week.
Anthony’s mum, Carolyn, said: “To know my son was so vulnerable and that someone has taken advantage of it is despicable.” Police are investigating the incident.
A spokesman said: “We are trying to establish exactly what has happened and where this incident happened as the victim can only remember going to the cash machine and then waking up on the pavement, suffering grazes to his face and missing a tooth.”

I was conceived in father/daughter rape-incest. My mother, Becca, was molested by her father throughout her childhood and was 15 when I was born. My parents killed my brother-in-law. The story starts almost a year ago when my younger sister started dating the man who would be her future husband. They married when she was 17 last October. He had just turned 21. The marriage was consented by both parents.
The day before the murder, my mother and my brother-in-law got into an argument over the phone. It exculated and my mother starting threatening to kill him. I was with her when she started making the threats but I did not really think she would go through with it and told her to stop, to let the kids live their lives--my sister was five months pregnant. She got very angry at me and dropped me off at my apartment that day. There was a call from her later that night that upset me so my sister and her husband stayed the night because I was still very upset. The next day, my mother called, wanting stuff she had left at my apartment.

A father accidentally shot his 9-year-old daughter in the stomach while cleaning his 22-caliber handgun, Vermont State Police the little girl has been hospitalized in the intensive care unit. Police said McKenzie Ezzo of Poultney underwent surgery and was in guarded condition at the University of Vermont Medical Shooting. The shooting happened on Sunday morning at a campsite in a wooded area off of US Route 4 in Ira. Police said the father, Randy Babcock, was cleaning the gun.
