I want to visit Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe to see for myself the miraculous spiral staircase built by a mystery man.

As the story goes, it was in 1800s when the nuns at the chapel hired a French architect to design a staircase that would connect the ground floor of their chapel to the choir loft without occupying much space. So, the French architect came up with the idea of a spiral staircase that would connect the two. Just when he was about to start the project, he died.

As a result, the nuns published in the local newspaper asking for carpenters who could do the job, but nobody came forward. The carpenters kept suggesting to the reverend sisters to use a ladder for climbing to the choir loft. Because the the nuns didn't like the idea, they decided to pray about it in a 9-day prayer series called Novena in the Catholic Church.

On the last/9th day, an unknown man rode on a donkey and visited them, telling them that he was instructed to come and work on their staircase. He worked for months without asking for a pay.

Upon finishing the job, the man left without asking for one cent. The nuns felt bad because they felt he deserved his pay and dropped a press statement in the city newspaper, begging the unknown man to come and receive payment for his work. To date, nobody showed up.

But here's the amazing thing about the staircase: think of a spiral staircase that has 33 steps, carved out of wood without fasteners and nails used to join it. It measures 20 feet, connecting the choir loft to the ground floor. No architect or carpenter has been able to explain how possible that is.

It is believed that Joseph the Carpenter, the Father of Jesus, was that unknown man who built it and the 33 steps depict the number of years that our Lord Jesus spent on earth. That spiral staircase is still firm to date and that chapel has become one of the most visited tourist attractions for tourists from around the world.

This is one sign that God is real!

First All Female Crew Into Space Proves Wisdom Of Biblical Sexuality

The celebration of the record feat achieved by the first ever all female crew into space proved the wisdom of the God ordained standard in the Bible of there being just 2 genders, Male and female. Genesis 1:27

It also shows how foolish it was to alter an individual's gender of birth, otherwise this remarkable feat would have been senseless and not worth any celebration, since a male who's been to space previously could easily later identify as a female or undergo a sex change and join the same crew as a transgender female leading to all manner of confusion just as the Bible calls such abominable ideas.

Thankfully though for the crew there's no need for all that confusion, because they were all born females just as God ordained it to be in the beginning, so it's was indeed the first ever female crew to space.

Most Christians think Isreal is paradise heaven for Christians.

This man right here is the embodiment of how the Jews feel about every Christian.

To the Jews, Christians are idol worshippers and according to the old testament idol worshippers should be utterly destroyed.

But most Christians would never experience the true hate from the Jews because they live very far away.

Try visiting Isreal one day and see things yourself. Or try listening to Jewish rabbi on YouTube and see the true nature of these people.

Religion... undecided
Just say you want Christians to stop supporting Israel and their actions against their enemies and rather join you and other Islamic terrorists to condemn instead every time. Saudi is the home different sects of Islam, yet you all troop to Mecca for pilgrimage.. The differences does not make Shi'ite Muslims to choose another Mecca different from Sunnis et al

Christians' support for Israel is majorly Bible based. The same way most Muslims do not condemn terrorism attacks by Muslim terrorists because they have the same foundation is why Christians do not condemn Israel. The Jews hated Jesus Christ who is also a Jew. Jesus Christ is the Lord and founder of Christianity..This means that Jesus Christ is from Israel and the place of pilgrimage for Christians is Israel.

The Bible further asks Christians to pray for the peace and well being of Jerusalem (Israel). That they who pray for her shall be blessed therein. So, do you now expect Christians whose Lord and the founder of their religion is a Jew, to now forfeit allegiance to the said country because of your reason that Christians are hated? If they hated our Lord Jesus Christi, then nothing is amiss if they also hate us Christians

Is it not this same Israeli that welcomes thousands of Christian pilgrims years and also has so many biblical based monuments and holy sites? These psychological manipulations don tay joor. Let now not even mention the Father Abraham angle.. Free us abeg
Foreign AffairsRe: Khamenei Must Go; Opposition Group Protest In Iran, demands Return To Democracy by McStoic(m): 2:52am On Jun 23, 2025
Celestialsword:
According to Telegraph, Maryam Rajavi, president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), has called for the removal of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, blaming him for the country’s ongoing crises and the recent devastation caused by conflict.

In a statement released on June 22, 2025, Rajavi condemned Khamenei’s leadership as “unpatriotic,” accusing him of causing countless deaths and costing the Iranian people at least two trillion dollars—losses she says have now “gone up in smoke.”

Rajavi emphasized a “Third Option” for Iran’s future: rejecting both appeasement and war in favor of regime change led by the Iranian people and their organized resistance.

Founded in 1981, the NCRI is a coalition of Iranian groups seeking to establish a democratic republic based on separation of religion and state, gender equality, and non-nuclear policies.

Speaking from Strasbourg just days earlier at the European Parliament, Rajavi highlighted the deepening crisis engulfing the clerical regime and warned that the ongoing conflict in the region was a direct consequence of decades of failed appeasement policies.

She stressed that Khamenei’s regime remains committed to pursuing nuclear weapons and exporting terrorism, policies she described as pillars of its survival.

Rajavi’s call for regime change reflects a growing sentiment among Iranian opposition groups and segments of the population frustrated by economic hardship, repression, and war.

She urged the international community to support the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom and democracy, arguing that lasting peace in Iran and the region can only be achieved through the overthrow of the current theocratic dictatorship.

The NCRI’s message underscores the intensifying internal and external pressures facing Iran’s leadership amid escalating military confrontations and widespread domestic discontent.

icedfire:
Let’s get some facts in order, because emotions are running high and misinformation is everywhere

Claim 1: “Israel attacked Iran first, and Iran is a sovereign nation.”

This argument keeps popping up, but it ignores years and decades of provocation and aggression from Iran.

Rebuttal:
Iran has been attacking Israel for years indirectly by funding, arming, and commanding proxies like Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza, the Houthis in Yemen, and Shia militias in Iraq and Syria. These groups have been consistently launching rockets and bombs into Israeli territory. This isn’t hearsay — this is confirmed by global intelligence agencies and even openly admitted by Iran’s own leadership.

On October 7, Hamas launched a brutal and unprecedented terror attack on Israel — killing civilians, taking hostages, and sparking the current escalation. That attack was the first shot in this round of war, not anything Israel did to Iran directly.

Yes, Israel is now responding — as any nation would. And they’re doing it strategically, going after each proxy one by one — Hamas, then other militias, and now possibly turning their attention to Iran itself, the source of it all.

Even Hezbollah — Iran’s top ally — is now publicly saying they won’t join the war if Iran is directly attacked. That tells you everything. Iran is mostly alone, because even its so-called allies know how reckless this has become.

Claim 2: “If Israel and the U.S. have nuclear weapons, why can’t Iran have nukes too?”

On the surface, this might sound like a fair question but look deeper.

Rebuttal:
There’s a massive difference between who holds nuclear weapons and how they intend to use them.

In Iran, every parliamentary session ends with chants of “Death to Israel, Death to America.” This isn’t symbolic. Iran backs it up with real-world violence through its proxies. They’ve made their intentions crystal clear — they want to wipe Israel off the map. So why should a nation with that mindset be allowed to have nuclear weapons?

Think of it like this: it’s okay for a police officer to carry a gun, because his job is to protect people. But should we hand a gun to an armed robber who already told us he plans to shoot someone? That’s exactly what giving Iran nukes would look like.

The U.S. and Israel having nukes doesn’t mean everyone should. There’s a difference between deterrence and destruction. Iran isn’t seeking peace. They are seeking power to enforce their ideology through violence.

Iran is too small for Isreal to destroy. Imagine , if Isreal was to do the same thing Iran is doing ? Isreal and now Us are the only country that would announce an impending attack to you civilians to move , hence targeting only military installations but Iran doesn’t give no eff about civilians . It is a USA-Iran war all along. Israel is just a proxy and battle ground for the war the American Republican Party imposed on Americans.

The Americans and Iranians are at war, Isrealis are mere puppets. They are feeling what Gazans have been experiencing.

Let's pray for the peace in Middle East and the whole of America as a continent because the US may be bringing home a bad omen to the American continent.

Peace and Justice will eventually prevail in the world.
Apart from the bunker busting bombs US dropped at three Iranian nuclear facilities yesterday, could you tell us other things they have done?

Could you please tell how it is the US fighter jets that have been roaming the Iranian skies since? Explain further clearly how US has killed Iranian nuclear scientists and top government officials? Say you hate Israel no mean say you shouldn't give respect where it's due. US is Israel's ally but you saying they are the ones fighting this war for Israel means you are being escapist.

Iran is recognised as having military capabilities that's why Israel fears them developing nuclear weapons cos it will get into terrorists' hand. So, that they bombed Israel too is no big deal. What counts is who inflicted most damage on the other. Iran has been dealt severe blowby Israel. It's very glaring

Isreal is very small and so a bruteforce approach from iran will likely hit juicy targets. Israel's defence is also very expensive. Asides these major disadvantages, i see fewer ways Iran can gravely hurt Israel.

I wonder why Israel hasnt figured out a way to take down more of Iran's zigzag missiles. Something like a curtain of drones should do that. A curtain of drones that identifies direction of incoming missile barrages and just rises to form a curtain, then employ bruteforce in reverse to shoot down the missiles. That should be cheaper than iron dome. Even Ukraine needs such too.

Nelson Mandela Life Support Shut Down as Respected Humanitarian Dies Age 94

Nelson Mandela Dead at 94

A reliable source has revealed that Nelson Mandela’s life support machine was shut down and he has died in the hospital aged 94. According to the source, the iconic Mandela died last night while he was still in the hospital for the recurring lung infection that left him in critical condition for several days.

Rumors have flooded the newspapers and the internet with several sources reporting his death days earlier in a cruel attempt to fool the public and to upset the many people who have respect for this great humanitarian. The loss of the great man will be felt across the world.

Earlier today one of our writers, Laura Oneale, wrote an article questioning whether or not Nelson Mandela was still alive. He had been in the hospital 19 days for a recurring lung infection. As speculation surrounding his health continued to grow with many asking whether he was still alive or if, in fact, he had died. Until recently authorities would only confirm that he was on a life support system and remained in a critical condition.

Authorities have confirmed that Nelson Mandela has been taken off his life support machine, adding fuel to the speculation that he had died. Because of this, the rumor has been spreading that Nelson Mandela died last night and that the government and his family have “kept a lid” on the news because of American President Obama’s upcoming trip to South Africa. Obviously, the president’s visit will be overshadowed by the announcement of the Nobel Prize winning Mandela.

The Nobel Prize winning humanitarian Nelson Mandela had his life support shut down after he died last night aged 94 at the end of a long battle with illness that ended with his hospitalization and finally his death. While his health problems started in 2011, it was the summer of this year when his condition worsened.

In February 2011, he was briefly hospitalized with a respiratory infection, attracting international attention. He was then re-hospitalized for a lung infection and gallstone removal in December 2012. After his successful medical procedure in March 2013 did not prevent his lung infection from recurring he was briefly hospitalized in Pretoria.

On June 8, 2013, his lung infection worsened and he was re-hospitalized in Pretoria in a serious condition. After four days, it was reported that he had stabilized and that he remained in a “serious, but stable condition”.

While on his way to the hospital, the ambulance carrying Mandela broke down and was stranded on the roadside for 40 minutes. The South African government was criticized for the incident when it confirmed the report weeks later. President Jacob Zuma protested: “There were seven doctors in the convoy who were in full control of the situation throughout the period. He had expert medical care.”

On June 22, 2013 CBS News reported that Mandela had not opened his eyes in days and that he was unresponsive. The family began discussing just how much medical intervention should be given.

On June 23, 2013 President Jacob Zuma issued a statement saying that Mandela’s condition had become “critical.” Zuma, who was accompanied by the Deputy President of the ANC, Cyril Ramaphosa, met with Mandela’s wife Graca Machel at the hospital in Pretoria and discussed his condition.

On June 25, 2013, Cape Town Archbishop Thabo Makgoba visited Mandela at the hospital and prayed with Graca Machel Mandela “at this hard time of watching and waiting.”

On June 26, 2013, Nelson Mandela was taken off life support after his condition deteriorated further. Sources have said that the 94 year-old Mandela died last night after his life support was shut down.

The Las Vegas Guardian Express writer Laura Oneale also wrote that in Qunu, the home town of Nelson Mandela, his family got together with the elders to discuss specific events surrounding the well-being of Mandela. It has been confirmed that they were talking about highly sensitive issues.

The grandson of Nelson Mandela angrily left the meeting over a disagreement of where the former president was to be buried. Mandela’s daughter, who was seen wearing a red blanket, and other family members were at the gravesite. It has been reported that the “red blanket” is part of a tribal ceremony of the Xhosa. According to Xhosa custom the blanket is used when a family member has died.

Later in the same day, gravediggers arrived at the Mandela burial site.

Sources have confirmed that Nelson Mandela died last night after his life support was shut down and the respected iconic humanitarian has died age 94. Details of the funeral arrangements will be released when they become available.

FamilyRe: What If Chief Iwuanyanwu Died Without A Will... by McStoic(m): 11:29pm On Jun 19, 2025
LawWithEbele:
Imagine if Chief Iwuanyanwu died without a will...

The whole country is talking about the conditions in Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu’s will. But imagine this:

What if he never made a will at all?

Let’s face it, many Nigerians fear writing a will. Some believe it’s a bad omen.
Others keep postponing it for “when the time is right.” But death doesn’t send a memo.

That’s why many people die intestate, without a will. And when that happens, you no longer have a say.The law, and sometimes family chaos, takes over.

So, what would have happened if Chief Iwuanyanwu died intestate?

It depends on the kind of marriage he had:

If he contracted a customary marriage, then his estate would be distributed according to custom, and we all know customs can vary and cause serious family drama.

If he contracted a statutory marriage then the Administration of Estates of the deceased Law of the state applies.

And here’s what that law says in most states:

The wife gets 1/3 of the estate
The children share 2/3
No room for personal wishes
No gifts to charity, friends, staff, or causes you loved. No specific property direction, like “give this house to my daughter” or “support this foundation”

But with a will? You become the boss, even in death. You decide who gets what. You protect vulnerable loved ones.
You avoid family conflict. You leave a legacy, not confusion.

But here’s a legal twist most people don’t know: do you really have unlimited freedom to give your property to anyone you like in your will? Can you completely disinherit a spouse or child or a dependent?

Watch out for my next post, I’ll be unpacking the legal limits to testamentary freedom in Nigeria. You don’t want to miss it.

So let me ask: is it worth it for a married person to make a will?Drop your answer in the comments. Let's talk.

I’m Ebelechukwu Aroh-Nwoka, your family and property lawyer.I help Nigerians plan wisely, avoid inheritance drama, and protect what truly matters- your family and property.
I don't like the man but I admire how he planned for his family. He really obeyed Bible there
