Family / Re: Is This Family Right To Demand For The Whole Money? by McStoic(m): 2:08pm On Jul 11, 2023
Nazgul:
A member of a church underwent a major operation, and his medical bill was N245,000. And he couldn't afford it.

His brother went to the Pastor on Sunday and told him to assist. The Pastor picked the microphone and told the church that our brother needs N245,000 to settle his medical bill.

Members began to donate.

After donations, what was realized was N760,000. And after the church, the Pastor counted N245,000 and gave the brother to the sick person, and then he put the balance into the church account.

The sick person's family are aggrieved. They're of the opinion that members raised that money for their brother and not the church so the church has no right to keep back any amount given to their brother. Cos the announcement was specifically to raise money for the sick brother.

The pastor is saying that they requested for 245k and he has given it to them. So whatever is left belongs to the church.

Is the pastor right?

Or is he greedy?

Contributions are welcomed.

Just look at how this foolish criminal is confessing to crime..Openly admiting to falsely framing someone of theft and forcefully taking their property, agbaya......Even though the phone collector is a woman, some useless men are like that too, they just don't have sense and saying they behave like small pikin is an insult to children... Broke and insecure men everywhere. Na Una mate dey buy GLE Benz for their babes for Festac here, na your mate dey build mansion dash woman.. Ordinary Tecno phone wey no reach 50k na him Una go dey carry Soldier go collect from a woman.. I don't have much to say but I have an advice for the ladies here, avoid broke men like plague, avoid them like cancer.. Sometimes too much suffering and poverty really messes with their brain and affects how they think, nonsense..Any guy above 23 years old that doesn't have a car, a House and 50+ million in the bank is a failure, avoid them for your own good and mental health.. A word is enough for the wise...

I will rather take Sabinus skits more seriously than you as a person

Isn't industries easily identifiable again?

I can list so many big industries operating in Aba off hand. PZ, Unilever, Glass force, Flour mills, pharmaceutical companies etc etc.

I know ibadan very well too, aside P&G, biscuit companies, and some others what else is there?

Go and ask Shell why they built a dedicated gas pipeline to Aba. Also ask Geometric why they built Nigeria's biggest private power plant in Aba.

Travel around and be exposed they say no.

Don't mention travelling and those guys in the same sentence. They like half baked stories like kilode

Ignorance is a disease. How many cities in Nigeria today are more industrialized than Aba? Can you name them? Simple Google search will tell you that SE has EEDC and Geometric (Aba zone).

It has been argued in the past between Aba and Ibadan, and Aba won. You can check the thread!

Talking about Ogun state, we all know it would have been another dead zone just like Ekiti or Osun, without Lagos. Over 90% of the industries in are at the boundary with Lagos. Ota and Agbara were established because getting lands in Lagos for industries was becoming increasingly difficult.

Aba is more industrialized than any city or town in SW aside Lagos.

No mind the ethnic recluse who never travels outside his South West zone

I am still looking for the proof. Which middle class is in the South East?

If not for Igbo living outside SE, that land in itself is unproductive.

If you wan to see the middle class in Nigeria, come to the South West

If I were the guy arguing with you, at this point, I will simply ignore you. Ignorance has finished you. You clearly haven't set foot on South East before. Keep on living on spoonfed misinformation.

SW states accounted for over 50% of Disco revenue.

The newest data shows that Lagos, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Imo state and Delta states are the biggest economies in Nigeria by GDP.

Followed by Anambra, Ondo and ogun state.

The reason why Imo and anambra state are having drastic growth in GDP compared to other states is because of the growing natural Gas exploitation that is going on in these states. Especially, Imo state.

In another 20 Years, we expect that Imo state will become 2nd position with the huge investment that is being made in natural gas in the state.

The joke is on you comrade. He made lotta valid points up there. The loots of Abacha, Babangida, Buhari, Hadi Sirika, et al are heavy points against the acclaimed honesty of the North. I wonder what you people would have said if they were Igbos...

The North has robbed Nigeria much more than any other zone in this country. Hausa Fulani under Buhari used deception more than any other regime in Nigeria history.. But you guys are blaming the Igbos

Most funny post so far this year.
When we were growing up,that was the impression the elders gave us,that the Northerner,no matter the status,is a honest, not money loving, simple person.
Buhari and many northern politicians put that to bed.
The unfortunate thing is that in Nigeria we depend on our perception, belief or assumptions,we hardly like or want to rely on facts and data when it's available.
Check through the number of political office holders since 1999 and do a simple statistics of the number of politicians from North and South with allegations of corruption or being probed for corruption.
The statistics would shock people to realise as many,if not more northerners have been involved in corruption.
The simple test is this,Reno or whosoever should mention one northern politician that has not been involved in allegation of pilfering federal, state LG or MDAP funds.
The only person I am seeing is Nuhu Ribadu,ALL others including their god, Buhari have public, published allegations and/or investigation of corruption hanging on their heads!

God bless you very much. You just took the words out of my mouth
