No news o. I've written the embassy, VFS and Campus France but none of them has responded. I was hoping to leave on Friday but right now, I don't have a clue. I'm tired of getting. I probably will just try again next year and perhaps somewhere else.

It's too early to give up bro! Write your university and let them know about the situation. There's always a way out!

I didn't know it will take so long. School resumes on 25th and I had planned on leaving 22nd - which is Friday.
What is their average response time?

There's nothing like an average time bro. They make decisions based on when they feel it's right and based on what they need to verify concerning your application. I pray they grant you the visa this week.

You should call vfs or send an email to the embassy. You can also inform your university of the situation and see if resuming a week or days later won't be a problem. Plus anything can happen before the end of today!
