Praise be to Allah, lord of the worlds and may his tremendous blessings be on the prophet (saw) and his entire household.
Allah said in his book "....and stand before Allah with obedience" (Q2:238) and has said concerning the prayer "....and truly it is extremely heavy and hard except for the al-khashioon(Q2:45)
Salah is the greatest pillar of Islam and khushoo in salah is required according to shariah. Khushoo means calmness, serenity, tranquility and humility.
"....successful indeed are the believers, those who offer prayers with all solemnity and full submissiveness"(Q23:1-2)
How to develop Khushoo in solar
1. Get in the grove even before prayer begins, Plan like you are going for interview. Repeat the adhan, recite the dua after adhan, perform wudhoo with concentration, dress neatly, pray on time
2. Learn something new. memorise the short surahs and verses from the long ones
3. Don't steal while praying perform your ruku and sujood properly
4. Learn Arabic, read Tafseer
5. improve your relationship with Allah
6. Remembering Allah while praying Q(40:70-72)
7. Pausing at the end of each ayah
8. Reciting in slow Rhythmic tones (Q73:4)
9. knowing that Allah responds to prayer
10. Varying the adhkaars, surahs and dua'as recited in prayer
11. Knowing the advantages of khushoo in salah
12. Striving to offer dua at the appropriate times
13. Not praying in a garment that has decorations, writing, bright colours or pictures that will distract
14. Not praying when there is food prepared I.e when food is ready, eat first before praying
15. Not praying when you need to answer call of Nature
Ma shaAllah...the success of a prayer depends on its Kushoo
Allahumma inner authubika min qalbin law yakhsha( Oh Allah! I seek refuge with you from a heart that has no khushoo)
May Allah help us to do good acceptable deeds for his sake only(aameen)

3. Meetings at home
i. Creating opportunities for meetings at home
ii. Not showing family conflicts in front of children
iii. Not letting into the house anyone whose commitment to Islam is not pleasing to you
iv. Taking careful notes of what the family members are up to
v. Paying attention to children at home I.e teaching them to memorize the Qur'an and Islamic stories
vi. Being strict in adhering to a schedule for meals, bedtime, dua time
vii. Re-evaluating women's work after the home q(33:33)
viii. keeping family secrets

4. Good manners at home
i. Spreading kindness at home
ii. Helping one's wife with house chores
iii. Being affectionate and joking with members of the family
iv. Resisting Bad manners at home
v. Hang up the whip where the members of the household can see it

5. Evils in the home
Remove pictures of animate beings, do not allow smoking, men and women should sit separately during family visit etc

6. The home inside out
i. Choose a good location and design of home
ii. Choose the neighbour before the house
iii. Paying attention to necessary repairs at home and making sure that the amenities are in good order
iv. Paying attention to the family's health and safety procedures
Ya Rahman, Ya Raheem, Ya Dhuljalaal wal ikraom
Forgive the sins we don't remember and those we didn't even consider as sins
Bestow upon us wealth to spend in your path
Save our children from the impact of our mistakes in their lives
Bless us with righteous children
Make our children the coolness of our eyes and make them sawwab-e-jaariya for us
Make them those who establish salah and prostrate only to you...

This is for the married ummah who are finding it uneasy to build a Muslim home. May Allah grant us pious families that will lead us to jannah
1 FORMING THE HOUSEHOLD
i. Making a good choice when choosing wife Q 24:32
conditions for choosing a wife include: wealth, lineage, beauty and religion
striving to guide one's wife
ii. Making the home a place for remembrance of Allah
iii. Make your homes qiblah I.e take your home as a place of worship Q10:87
iv. Spiritual training for members of the household. Wake them up for qiyam-layl and encourage them to give charity. You can have a box at home for donation to the poor and needy and fasting too.
v. Paying attention to adhkaar and sunnah duaa that have to do with the home
vi. Continuous reciting surah-al-baqarah in the house to ward off the shaitan
2. Islamic knowledge in the home
i. Teaching the family: an obligation on the head of the household(Q66:6)
ii. Start building an Islamic library in your home.
iii. Home audio library
iv. inviting good and righteous people and seekers of knowledge to visit the home.
v. learning Islamic rulings with regards to home
May Allah help us in building our homes

Many of us find it difficult to make dua in a beautiful way. Nobody is perfect tho...May Allah accept our duas as an act of ibadah. Here are the 7 tips:
1. Make your intentions clear, have wudhu, face Qibla, be neat and clean
2. Raise both hands up to the shoulder with palms open facing up
3. Use words of Allah (swt) and prophet (pbuh) I.e duas found in Qur'an and hadith
4. Ask by Asma alhusna(Allah's beautiful names)
5. Be very humble and resistant
6. Glorify Allah and recite salawat for the prophet (saw) at both the beginning and end
7. Show humility, entreaty, desire and fear while making dua
May Allah help us and guide us to the right path
