Politics › Re: IPOB, APGA Alliance Can Bring South-east Together —aisha Yesufu by meccuno: 10:44pm On Nov 10, 2021
[s]
Maxymilliano:
Activist Aisha Yesufu has urged the Indigenous People of Biafra to form an alliance with the All Progressives Grand Alliance towards bringing the South-East together politically.

She said instead of IPOB wasting its goodwill by issuing sit-at-home orders, what the group ought to do is to ensure that votes go the way of credible candidates.

Yesufu said this following the November 6 governorship election in Anambra State which was won by APGA candidate, Professor Charles Soludo.

According to her, “Imagine if IPOB works with APGA to control the political power in the South East? Bring the best candidates to be nominated. Show the rest of us how people with competence, character and capacity in leadership positions can change a region. Use the power to negotiate at Federal level.

“An APGA/IPOB alliance can bring the South East together politically. Instead of IPOB wasting its goodwill on giving sit-at-home orders, they can make it ‘nominate and vote credible candidates’ order.”

She added that political power is everything without which one is treated anyhow like a pawn.

She said, “With that power, you can negotiate with any party wanting to win presidential elections and give the terms for your alliance. Any party interested in winning the region must be ready to meet your terms. That way, no party takes the region for granted.

“Everyone knows that South East is for PDP at the presidential level. It shouldn’t be so. South East should be for whichever party is ready to give South East the best deal!

“Use your political might to negotiate. Let PDP sweat for it too.”

They are yet to see so many things wrong with their darling Party, Pdp which they have been serving for over 2 decades now without getting anything tangible in return

An APGA/IPOB alliance can bring the South East together politically. Instead of IPOB wasting it's goodwill on giving sit at home orders they can make it nominate and vote credible candidates "order"

Political power is everything!
Without it you are a pawn to be treated anyhow

With that power you can negotiate with any party wanting to win Presidential elections and give the terms for your alliance. Any party interested in winning the region must be ready to meet your terms.
That way no party takes the region for granted as belonging to one party.

Everyone knows that South East is for PDP at the Presidential level. It shouldn't be so. S/E should be for whichever party is ready to give South East the best deal!
Use your political might to negotiate. Let PDP sweat for it too.

That way South East is not a given to any party
You can make South East an APGA party at National Assembly, Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections. Plus local government elections. When it comes to Presidecy you form an alliance with any party that is ready to meet your terms and give the best to the South East.

Other regions can see the APGA/IPOB alliance working and emulate. When there are diff parties whose interest is their region first and then they form alliance with any party at the Presidential level, the regionalisation we are yearning for will begin to happen by fire by force

Imagine an APGA/IPOB political alliance waxing strong and emulated in all the different region!

The different regions can control the legislative arm of government and be able to align to get things done!
You want a referendum? Ensure we have a constitution that has one!
You want Biafra Republic, some want Oduduwa Republic, others want Middle belt Republic and some still it is South South Republic they want.
Fine!

Get strong regional parties. Send your candidates to the National Assembly and State Houses of Assembly. You can by pass a President!

If the legislative members of the South East, South West, South South and North Central come together won't you be able to get that restructuring faster than waiting for a President to give you?
Being in the trenches and fighting will give you the adrenaline but political power will give you the control!

The regional political parties can have a candidate joining national parties to contest for Presidential elections.

SlyDev:
I'm serious right now, why are Yorubas always the fall guy of every Nigeria problems.

When another tribe do something, Nigerians will overlook but when it is Yoruba turn, everyone activate their hatred mode and aggressively cancel them.

The first scene was when Taooma visited vice president Osinbajo with her fellow skit makers, she was bashed on twitter to the extent that she had to apologise two times.

The next one that is going on twitter now is about Fcmb, Kuda and Gtb. They are being cancelled right now.

A quick search on the Internet

Fcmb - owned by Chief Michael Olasubomi “Subomi” Balogun
Kuda - The CEO of the Kuda Bank is Babs Ogundeyi.
GTB - Tajudeen Afolabi Adeola

I'm not racist, ethnic bigot but I can't stand how you want Nigeria to move forward and then get mad when Kuda invited you to explain the movement of money in your account?

I don't understand how you get mad when Fcmb place fraud alert on 20-30years old account, if you have nothing to fear, why are you then mad? Will you be happy if someone just wipe your dad's account?

Now that is that, the one that got me angry the most is some useless people that hatred is in their heart will see this as an opportunity to bring these three companies down, one even went a little farther saying they should give kuda, Fcmb and Gtb cro-wee treatment huh Why?!
[/s] seriously are you on drugs or are you related to adeyinkas Grandson?

This government doesn't f**cking care about us. It's always "more for themselves and less for everybody else".
They don't want a population of citizens capable of living well, which is why they've been blocking every avenue from where the youth can make money without begging for crumbs; think crypto, Instagram. They'll soon come for forex and other social media.

They don't want to provide enabling environment for businesses to grow but they have funds to pay counter-protesters and zombies to fight their online battles on nairaland.

They borrow billions but the effects of those billions aren't felt by the masses.

They steal the billions that they're borrowing because they know there's no redemption for this country.

They buy citizenship in good countries abroad, while some people support them for the crumbs that fall for their tables.

They don't fụcking care about you, whether you're Yoruba, Igbo, Efik, Ibibio or any other tribe. As long as you're not Fulani, you can go to hell.

I sincerely wish the eyes of the people will open and they'll see who their real enemies are.
Support disintegration let everyone handle their demons.

You asked me how Lagos state's IGR impacts my life and I stated specifically how, like driving on the roads and bridges built with the IGR, benefiting from the hospitals and maternity centers built with the IGR, housing estates built with the IGR, salaries to pay my rent and put food on the table, agencies and agency services to save my life in case God forbid I get in trouble or accidents and list goes on..

Now, please explain to me what I still don't get about your question?

Are you confused, deceptive, or you can not even read and comprehend your own posts?

Or you just don't know what states do with IGR?

When people like you run out of sensible things to say, you quickly go and dodge under Tinubu.

When we say good morning, you shout Tinubu, when we say goodnight, you shout Tinubu, when we say how are you, you shut Tinubu?

Sir the issue isn't about high population, dats exactly what I want you to understand, rather it is about the work-function of ur population.and for the record there was a time china's economy was in mess,so it's not about the age, for if it was about age, ethiopia that is way older than china would have been better of.

Again like I said it's not about population but about the work-function of the people that makes of the country.

IGR reflects in the lives of people working for the state government and it's agencies not the lives of people in the private sector, unemployed ( most states in Nigeria don't pay unemployment ) and sole proprietorships e.t.c

State housing is been built, state hospitals are been built, bridges are been built, state primary and secondary schools are been built and renovated, children hospitals are been built. State recreational parks and centers are been built.e.t.c

In summary
IGR will reflect in the lives of state government employees and infrastructure in the state.

And Biafrans rely a lot on the goodwill of the public thats it, the court is in Abuja Biafrans would spend money for transport to get there, they have no case against him so there will be no trial, they would keep adjourning cause they know that Biafrans would be worn out, they would present him court to make everyone seem hopeful, they take good care of him but that's not the real deal.
