They were all brilliant chaps who listened attentively to everything you said and spoke like business people.

You need to understand your business and your figures as questions were thrown from different angles.

I was given a chance to explain the risks and my mitigates.

In addition, my knowledge of the market was tested.

I got advices and noted them down.

If you are presenting a food related business, please include nafdac.

For all businesses, consider insurance too.

In addition, what will you do if your planned customers don't buy from you?

What will you do when competition tries to freeze you out?

For accreditation, if you are an existing business, please go with a copy of your business bank statement and your tax clearance certificate.

Tax clearance certificate should be for the business and not your Individual name.

For new businesses, go with your certificate and other registration documents... Include originals and copies.

For not yet completed registrations, please go with any evidence of process. Validated name search and copies of submitted forms.

I think its not proper to include capital and at the same time depriciation as part of FC. It will seriously affect your break even analysis and its like double charging. The best thing is to charge depriciation at appropriate rate of 10, 15 or 20 percent depending on d rate of usage. My tot, understanding and opinion though

No one will say with any degree of certainty except YouWiN but from the look of things may be 1200 to 1500 considering those that were not successful are far more than those that were successful. This just going by sample of those around me.

But make sure you have availability search ready if not search will take time.

Congratulations to all of us because there's no looser here. But this one is a little deviation from YouWiN 1 & 2 where by now we will congratulated and asked to come for validation exercise and we will be called Provisional Awardees/winners. But I believe the almighty Allah that see us through the first and second stages will also see us through this interview. Once again congratulations to all us for coming this far.

obiscolly: Can't say for sure. During our workshop in ph, a youwin 2 awardee that spoke to us said she was invited for an interview. She was selected among those with the best business plans. She said they needed it to choose the best for the zone or the country...can't really remember.

The SSS guy I built rapour with told me that the total number of applications they received is within 30-40 range.
