0.9999 is an infinite series.
and 0.9+0.09+0.009+0.0009= 0.9999

first term=0.9
and common r= second term/first term.
=0.09/0.9
=0.01

sum of infinite series= a/1-r

=0.9/1-0.01
=0.9/0.9
=1
thus 0.9999=1
