Thanks be to God for his favor today. I am a silent reader of this thread and have not posted anything. I had my visa approved today at the Lagos Consulate. @6.30am

me- for my masters degree in *******
(have lost the confidence at this time)
v.o- why did you choose this school and state
me- *blank* for some seconds and I was talking balderdash
everything I prepared for just vanished
v.o - asked same question about 4 times with me giving almost same but different answer
v.o how many schools did you apply to
me- 3. emory uni, central michigan uni and nmhu
v.o- why did you apply to CMU
me- I applied because they also offer the same course I wanna study
v.o- did you do the GRE
me- no, both schools exempted me
v.o - who is your sponsor and where does the person works
me- my mum, she is a director in lagos state ministry of education
(at this stage I have accepted that he is gonna reject me for the previous f* up.)
v.o. folds my document and hands me the white sheet for the pick up of my passport. @8.30am
I thank God and all Nairalanders here on this tread. more power to your elbow.
In my own experience, I think the only key factor in getting a visa is GOD.
All those expecting theirs should look up to God abd have courage

Good morning guys, I have been given an I-20 (MBA) and was waived from submitting GMAT scores. I want to know if it's compulsory for me to do the GMAT exam before going to the embassy.
2. The school resumes August, all information for payment of sevis have been forwarded to me. Just expecting the hard copy of the I-20. Can I still meet up at the embassy given the nearness to resumption.
