my own opinion is that the era of oil boom is over. when there was alot of money in oil,countries like saudi arabia and U.A.E invested the money made from oil back into their system, while in Nigeria some individuals decided to embezzle and steal the funds from our own oil boom instead of using that money to develop other sectors. whether oil or no oil saudi and the UAE will be fine oda sectors are working.in nigeria there is fire on the mountain.President Buhari has to make them cough out all this money.

from a reliable source, it just got to me that femi falana has been appointed as the new Attorney General of the Federation. wait for the news at the media houses but i posted it first.

I have just heared from a reasonable source that the Ekiti State PDP Chairman, Mr Faleye has been removed by a vote of no confidence moved by the members of the state working committee(SWC). The acting chairman is Pastor Olatunji Olatunji.

He was removed because of his allegiance with Gov Ayo Fayose and being fayoses puppet in interfering with Party matters. The members of the SWC also claimed that fayose has been trying to divide the party both on the National and the State level. The SWC also went on to go against the removal of the National Chairman, Mu'azi stating that the Governor should face his governance rather than interfering with the activities of the Party.

The SWC members played a critical role in electing Fayose in his Primary and general elections has expressed thier disappointment with the way Fayose has been running his Government and how he contributed to the loss of President Jonathan at the may 28 polls through his unguarded utterances. The SWC members are also displeased with the Governors recent attacks on the National Chairman.

The vote of no confidence was passed by 11 out of the 12 SWC members.

The Governor, Ayo Fayose is at it again. He has mobilised touts and men of questionable character to get on the streets to unleash mayhem and violence. They are burning tires and threatening the lives of Apc members. They are beating people, breaking windscreens and damaging properties. Fayose claims the people will fight for him but he has started mobilising youths to fight then he will hide under the cover that people are fighting for him

market women can not go to there place of business and banks are being shut down. I wonder why we always have to go through this sort of disorderliness anytime fayose is in power. He keeps imposing curfews and hampering activities of Ekiti people. We need interference from above to help us in Ekiti get rid of this disorderliness.

Democracy should not be so

I am a young Ekiti citizen, Educated and PDP card carrying member. I write to communicate nothing but the truth because we cannot just sit there and have Fayose deceive the whole of Nigeria. If anyone feels that there are lies in my write up or it is out of bias, feel free to comment. Find below the different reasons on why Fayose is not disciplined and acts that are unbecoming of a governor.

1. Mr Fayose has put Ado-Ekiti into total darkness all in the name of no money. The street lights across town from Adebayo to Ajilosun (The main streets in Ekiti) are now being switched off at 10pm Every evening to "save money" which has now increased the crime rate in Ekiti. During fayemi’s tenure, these lights were on all through the night.

2. Mr Fayose, you came on the media to condemn the Government house built by former Gov Fayemi claiming that it was a waste of money and you will never live in the building. You went further to ask Ekiti citizens to suggest what the building could be converted into. Sir your Wife lives in that house while you stay at the presidential lodge. Now who is wasting money by maintaining two separate Governors lodge.

3. Mr Fayose, you cannot deny the fact that the underground club in that Government house built by Fayemi is being used by you and your close associates for your conventional Friday night parties where you bring in Ekiti State University girls, Afe Babalola University girls and youth corpers to dance and for orgy parties. There is no money but they still go home with 150,000 thousand naira each. You have paid over 200,000 thousand naira for over 20 female corpers in Ekiti including the Light skinned one that works in the Governor’s Office all in the name of sleeping with them. Sir this is waste.

4. Mr Fayose we voted for you, you need to stop saying things like "Nobody helped me to get here" we know God helps everyone but you need to watch your unguided utterances

5. Mr Fayose, to show how deceitful you can be, before your election into office you once put a bible cover on a dictionary, stood on it and swore that you will Make Femi Bamisile and one KTO Aluko your deputy governor and chief of staff respectively but you never did. You may be the face of Ekiti as you claim but these men are the face of the youths.

6. Mr Fayose, it is over 150 days in office now and you can’t point to one project you have carried out. Sir stop saying infrastructural development is a waste of money. you criticized and abandoned the civic center being built by Fayemi, place that would have looked like a 21st century mall and in turn Generated employment for jobless youths.
7. Mr Fayose, We do not want your stomach infrastructure of rice and premature chicken. Create job opportunities; Afe Babalola University alone has created over 4,000 jobs. You need to start thinking about utilizing the Rocks, stones and clay stones in Ekiti for quarry purposes and stop telling us we have no internally generated revenue. It’s your job to create revenue.

I hope the readers of this article can sense that there is no bias, just giving a piece of my mind and how I feel things should work in a modern society. We may be backward in Ekiti but we need a Governor who will move us forward instead of taking advantage of the backwardness. Thank you
