Comrade oshiomole really cant do anything abt electricity, education and security, those are federal and come directly under the presidency. With devolution of power, the states will have more power to industralize and improve security.
As for agriculture, he can not stop Edo farmers from selling their allocated fertilizers up north or force people to farm if they prefer to wait for allocation from abuja or "westy" from Italy.
It is obvious to all that the roads are a priority to the comrade and He is doing a whole lot better than the previous Government.

Oshiomole is the best Edo has had since Ogbemudia. All these insults. Lucky the thief was there for 8years and stole so much that Edo people couldnt say a word. He dint have to lift a finger. As a Benin woman I am ashamed people hate Oshiomole so much. You and your Nigeria is rich mentality - please check the figures, the economic data, our population, annual import bill etc. Even with zero corruption we would still be poor until we launch our industries and start producing things other people want to buy. Just out of interest how much do you guys pay in taxes annually? I'll be on zero.

Where is he supposed to find the money to do all the lofty projects that you have mentioned?

Edo's state annual income is way less than its annual recurrent expenditure so tell me Mr Birmingham how do you commence or complete capital projects with that reality?

The truth is most of this people (politicians) find that their promises are impossible to fulfil in the time horizon they have in office. (Ask Obama). But of course their allowances, salary, maintenance and security votes continues by right and when they are using that for personal and official expenses they are automatically regarded as THIEFS.

To do all the lofty projects nigerians are demanding you firstly have to sack perhaps all state and federal staff, and the government itself to create the money to meet 20% of our infrastructure requirements.

We are not going to have 24/7 electricity in Nigeria without massive funding from external investors. The alternative is for the federal government to stop all expenses for 5 - 10 years. That my friends is not an option.

Leave Oshiomole alone - His only well rumoured weakness is his affinity for girls, girls, girls.
