Yeah, that summary as well as the ratings drew me in. The show had a lot of things going for it but it just felt a bit drawn out to me.

Good morning engineers in the house, please my corolla altis does this thing where it suddenly reduces speed when I try to accelerate (as if something is holding the car back), the rpm meter drops and there is a tsk tsk sound. To overcome this, I have to press the accelerator gradually till I get to 100km/hr.
I've changed the oil, oil filter and plugs and the transmission fluid is above the gauge level but the problem persists.

HTGAWM S1 aired like 2015 or so if I recall

The reception was as expected. A lot of people complained about the gay scenes and repeated many of the talking points we've come to expect.

His focus is on story, not gender politics of characters

And even in the anime the gender is made clear and obvious, not ambiguous like the manga

Also the show isn't forcing LGBTQ down our throats like some Hollywood shows do...

They are characters first before their gender or sèxual preferences...unlike some Hollywood shows that tend to create characters simply for representation or to tick certain boxes...

Isayama has clearly stated that before he adds characters, he thinks of their role in the story..m

He won't just add characters because he wants a gày character or a non-binary character



Compare this to tons of examples in Hollywood including Mark's friend in Invincible, who only exists to represent

There is a reason people rarely complain about the gày characters in How To Get Away with Murder...that is because they exist as actual important characters first and have an actual personality before they are gày...

I guess you weren't on this thread when how to get away with murder season 1 was airing

A simple Wikipedia check tells us that Merseyside doesn't isn't a 99 percent christian area. Whilst Christianity is the largest religion in the area, it has dropped from about 79% in 2001 to 57% in 2021.
Most young people identify as non-religious whilst other smaller religions are growing due to immigrants moving to the area.
You can't call someone a terrorist because of the religion they belong to. It's just like saying all men are terrorists because most terrorist acts are done by men. Shalom

I don't follow star wars franchise. If a show is said to be good, I'll give it a try. I watched andor because it was highly recommended in numerous places. Thankfully it was easy to follow along just like the mandalorian.

I discovered this site a couple of months ago and really liked it, especially their scheduler tab. It allowed me track what time of the day the shows I was interested in, dropped. Thankfully I found another one just in time.
