I did this business. Omo! I have hustled in this life. It's well. |
I never imagined I would find myself in a situation like this, but I feel compelled to share my heartbreaking experience with Moniepoint. While their cards may offer fast transactions, the rest of their service is nothing short of a nightmare. The biggest issue? Customer service. If you ever need to reach them, be prepared for the worst. You can’t get through to anyone, and when you finally do, you’re often disconnected just as you’re getting close to speaking with a representative. I’ve spent hours trying to get assistance, only to be left hanging with no resolution. And the worst part is, no matter how urgent your issue is, you’ll receive an email response that can take up to 48 hours. That’s right—48 hours of waiting, no matter how desperately you need the money. I’ve experienced the frustration of having my account blocked for no reason. When this happens, you’re left completely stranded, unable to access your funds or get any support. I’ve tried reaching out, but nothing gets done. If you happen to have an account manager, you’re not much better off. These account managers do nothing but act as middlemen, offering no real assistance or solutions. They’re just there for show, which feels like a scam when you're desperate for help. One of the most heart-wrenching moments was when a friend of mine fell seriously ill, and we urgently needed to send 600k for his medical bills. We decided to transfer the money through Moniepoint, believing it would be quick and easy. However, instead of helping, they blocked the credit of the amount of 700k, leaving us in an emergency situation with no way to get the funds to the hospital. The hours passed, and still, nothing was done. We had no choice but to send another money through another bank, Wema Bank, in order to save my friend’s life. It’s not just a bad experience—it’s a matter of life and death. If you’re considering using Moniepoint, here’s my advice: use it only for quick transactions. Don’t deposit large amounts of money into your account because you might end up with your funds blocked and no way to contact customer service. In a critical situation, they’ll leave you hanging, and you’ll be forced to find an alternative way to get your money where it needs to go. Moniepoint might offer fast transactions, but when it comes to customer service and reliability, it’s a huge disappointment. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone, and I hope no one else has to go through the same heartbreak and frustration I’ve faced.
