We started as friends. We were so close she could do anything for me and I could do anything for her.

She had a boyfriend who was a serial cheat and treated her like trash. It got to a point they broke up and he left. She was heartbroken.

I gave her my shoulders to lean on. I was there for her throughout those turbulent times and made sure she was never sad again.

She moved on. 2 months on we started dating. It was all fun and rosy. I'm not the type to fall deeply in love or should I say, women don't tickle my fantasy, I'd rather be with my goons than be with any girl.

But this girl came into my life and I don't know what she did to me to make me so in love with her. I loved her, she loved me. It was a heaven made match and a relationship anyone would wish for. On my birthday she got me a really expensive gift and I fell even more for her.

3 months on, her birthday was close and I was planning to make it special for her. Then I heard her ex came back in town, I wasn't troubled, "she loves me so much and she won't bat an eyelid for him anymore" I thought.

And then it happened. She left me for her ex who came back for her. I heard from a reliable source that before he came back, they'd been communicating online and the guy told her he's coming to take her back and he did take her from me.....

I am broken.....
I shall rise again in no time, and when I rise... I AM GOING TO BE A HEARTLESS MONSTER.

Covid 19 is presently ravaging the world. I watched CNN witnessing how most countries are shutting down their economies to tackle a these viral outbreak. Government in the developed countries have resulted to feeding their citizens , paying salaries, even ordering landlords to suspend rents for these periods as well as setting out emergencies funds for bail out to companies to avoid bankruptcy
Maybe you will as a Christian begin to appreciate and understand While Jesus in the Lord's prayer said "Give us this day our daily bread" Mathew 6 VS 11.
As Christians, Jesus didn't leave us in the dark about this period. Mathew 24
When you read verse 7, it says "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in various places". Covid 19 is just one of them. Many more are yet to come if Christ tarries.
HOW WE SHOULD REACT AS CHRISTIANS TO COVID 19
Psalm 91 is a clear scripture why we should always abide under the shadows of the almighty. verse 3 SAYS " "Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the NOISOME pestilence".
verse 6 - 7 says
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday

I will encourage you read the whole verse of this scripture.

Have you ever wondered why the death of the 1st born never came to the israelites while dwelling in Egypt, it was because of the blood of animals.
Exodus 12 vs 13
And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where you are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
Have you ever wondered why the devil was not able to touch Job... YES . HE COULDNT TOUCH JOB UNTIL GOD GAVE HIM PERMISSION... It was because of the blood of Animals too.

And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

Note that Job did 3 things here which caught my attention
1. rose up early in the morning
2. offered burnt offerings sanctifying them
3. He did it continually
According to Job actions, the devil gave this account in Job 1 vs 10
Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
.............still because of the same Blood of animals.
Heb 9 vs 12 - 14
12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Brethren, we have a better covenant. We have a perfect sacrifice. Not blood of animals, the blood of Jesus Christ.
Christ new things like Covid 19 was coming when he was on gethsemane. he knew the pains he was going to go through. he had to struggle with self when he prayed asking God if there was no other way it could be settled.
No wonder he said to them when they seeked to arrest him,
John 18 vs 7 - 8
Again he asked them, “Who is it you want?”
“Jesus of Nazareth,” they said.
8 Jesus answered, “I told you that I am he. If you are looking for me, then let these men go.” 9 This happened so that the words he had spoken would be fulfilled: “I have not lost one of those you gave me.
Several things have held us bound. Poverty, afflictions, pestilence, including covid 19 and more to come... yes .... more are coming.
But Christ insisted, if you want me, let "these men"(personalize it) go their way. You see why pestilence and all of them cant afflict you. it will be illegal. they took Jesus instead of you. He paid for them all. It will be illegal for them to hold you.
Isaiah 53 caps it all.
BY HIS STRIPES WE WERE HEALED. PRAISE GOD.
I am discharged and acquitted . The paid full. No, he actually over paid

Revelations 6 vs 1-6 gave a real insight to these days

Verse 6 says " and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine"
Here lies my question? WHO IS THE OIL AND THE WINE? It was asked not to hurt them

OIL
I have always known that oil has been used to synonymously described the holy Spirit. Remember when kings where anointed with oil, the Spirit of God came upon them.

The world is really looking for solution presently. Christ has planted us to become the light to our nations. Kings shall come to the brightness of our rising. this wont happen if we dont step into the responsibilties Christ has given us. The world needs us more now. Everywhere has been predated with fear but we know for us We have not been given the spirit of fear but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Preaching Christ and leading lost souls becomes our greatest responsibilty. The enemy is out there looking for whom to devour. We have to step out bodly and win this battle of souls.
Phillipians 2 vs 9 - 11 gives me joy
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Do you really understand that Covid 19 is in the earth. While killing carnal men, and it hears "THE NAME OF JESUS" IT BOWS
That devil/pestilence/situations bows at the NAME OF JESUS. That settles it.
No wonder the bible said in Isaiah 54 vs 17
No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
And their righteousness is from Me,”
Says the LORD.
It said this is the heritage of the servants of the lord... Are we truly servants ? I am aware being a true servant means subjecting your own will to the will of your MASTER.
Psalm 104 vs 4
"Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire". Rumours have it covid 19 can't survive temperature how much more when you become a flaming fire.
God's greatest desire is that we plug into the season we are in and become his end time generals bring back the saved and lost soul.
He has made everything available for us when he gave us Jesus and he made himself available when he poured out his Spirit upon us.
In conclusion, my mentor taught me something. He said Christianity faith is like a software. it needs constant update. Yesterday is not just enough. Even whatsapp understands the need of daily backups adding new information to the previous existing ones and storing them also calling them all back when need be.
How are you updating yourselve as a Christian? Is your software up to date. Do you add daily or you have refused updates?
in essence are you really acting like Job who understood his Priestly role over his family constantly
1. Rising up in the morning
2. Sanctifying them through the blood
3. Doing it continually

The Department of State Services (DSS) has released the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), Sheik Ibrahim El-Zakzaky.

A Kaduna State High Court, today, granted the Cleric’s bail application to enable him to travel to India for medical attention.

The Public Relations Officer of the DSS, Dr. Peter Afunanya confirmed the released in a statement in Abuja, this evening.

The DSS was silent on the fate of Zeenatu. The statement reads in full, “This is to inform the public that the Department of State Services (DSS) has received the order granting Ibrahim EL-ZAKZAKY leave to travel to India for medical treatment. “Consequently, the Service is liaising with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance. Conformity with the order is in line with the Service’s avowed commitment to the Rule of Law inherent in a democracy.” Expatriate abducted in Akwa Ibom regains freedom after 18 days Details soon…. Vanguard Justice Darius Khobo of Kaduna State High Court, on Monday, granted leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), Ibrahim Elzakzaky, leave to seek for medical attention in New Delhi, India. Khobo while granting the IMN leader the leave said he would travel in company of State officials. He said the IMN leader must return immediately after his discharge from the hospital to face his charges. The IMN leader, El-Zakzaky and his wife had applied to the court seeking to travel, following poor health while in detention. The State Director of Public Prosecution, Mr Dari Bayero, briefed newsmen, shortly after Monday’s ruling in Kaduna. Bayero who is the respondent in El-Zazaky’s application said the team had taken time and examined the eight medical reports by Nigerian and foreign doctors that accompanied the IMN leader’s application. “The context of the court ruling is that Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife are granted leave to travel out for urgent medical attention. “The court looked through the medical reports filed and believed Mallam is indeed in dire need of medical attention. “This is not a bail, but a leave to travel. So as soon as his discharge from the hospital and he returns to the country, his trial will resume,” he said
