Peter Obi, former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, has alleged that the Federal Government is making moves to stop him from contesting in the 2027 presidential election. Obi further spoke on the current economic situation. He said the country is struggling under poor leadership decisions. According to him, Nigeria needs a shift towards competence and accountability. He stressed that governance should focus on production, not consumption.

However, he maintained that despite the challenges, he remains committed to offering himself for service. He said Nigerians deserve better leadership and a clear direction for growth.
