What’s your business with Lagos? How we vote in Lagos is none of your business. In 2023, nobody was allowed to vote for APC in the south east. The videos of Ibo people molesting APC voters are still available online. We never used Police or DSS to harass those that perpetrated the rigging and intimidation in the south east.

You see what Sego said earlier, that’s the general position of all of us in the south west. We won’t allow the nonsense that happened in Lagos in 2023 to repeat itself ever again. In 2027, we will adopt the south east model of voting. No amount of noise will change this. The era of Yoruba liberalism and sophistication is over. What you are looking for you will eventually find. As much as your people may covert or desire Lagos, it is somebody’s ancestral homeland. They have rights too under the dubious mixed up constitution of Nigeria. They have a RIGHT to exclude outsiders who want to influence and heat up their local politics and governance.

And the Yoruba nation will support them in full. There are no other traditional rulers or constituted authorities other than Yorubas in Lagos. It seem 2027 will be the final showdown that will reverse the covetous longthroat unconstitutional migration from the SE.
