The Catholic Bishops recently visited Tinubu on the suffering and political suppression of opposition partie

Tinubu scoffed at their advice, making two infamous quotes that have entered the annals of history as the trademark posture of the present regime

"ALL IS FAIR IN POLITICS"

The regular suspects (their names are not worth mentioning) have gone overboard to start insulting Cardinal John Onaiyekan for saying the truth on how the meeting went

Onaiyekan has nothing to prove to anyone; he has been consistent as the Northern Star in speaking Truth to power from the days of "anya adam".

Their foaming on their mouths against the message from the Mother Church is meaningless

Their rantings against the Prince of the Catholic Church, Cardinal John Onaiyekan, remind me of what Brutus said to Cassius in the play Julius Ceaser by William Shakespeare

By the Grace of God, I attended the best university in Nigeria (Uniben). If I was foolish enough to go into politics, I would not need to list my Primary and secondary school because listing the Great Uniben alone meets (and actually exists) the minimum qualification standard required by INEC.

As it happens, my own Primary school actually no longer exists.

Focus on minimum requirements, if he has attained it, what exactly is the problem.

The ones listing all schools are actually doing ITK or did not read the form they are submitting well.

But you sef think am, if you get a company and Tinubu come apply for entry-level job there with this CV, shey you go hire him? Please be sincere with yourself.

If only such energy and time will be spent on interviewing Tinubu and not any of his set of vuvuzelas. We must get serious as a country. Frankly speaking, a President or Presidential candidate keeping malice with the people is an unserious entity.

The Nigerian media must agree moving forward that any presidential candidate not speaking won’t be given any media mention.
Equal access to publicity is part of the checklist of a free, fair and credible election.

As old and busy as Trump is, he speaks daily. We must become serious as a people! We should have irreducible minimums in this country.
