Richard Lord The Woman Who Won Winning $758.7m Powerball Lottery Splits With Her Partner Of 15yrs In 2016 Richard Lord and his partner of 15-years Mavis Wanczyk split in 2016 and if he had just married her, he would have shared in her record-breaking $758.7 million Powerball win – which the mother-of-two, who opted to collect her winnings in the form of a lump sum, will take home around $443m after taxes. Massachusetts law states that anything purchased over the course of a marriage – including a lottery ticket – counts as a marital asset to be shared in the event of a split. Speaking to DailyMail after her win, Richard said; “I could have paid off the rest of the house, taken a vacation in Europe – but that’s just the way life is sometimes. But I’m happy for her. I certainly don’t hold anything against her. I hope she enjoys all that money – she’s certainly got a lot of it now. Right now I know she’s pulling her hair out with all the harassment and the soliciting phone calls.” Richard explained that he never proposed because he lost 50 percent of everything when he divorced his ex-wife prior to meeting Wanczyk, and didn’t want to repeat the mistake. “I was married for 20 years but that ended in one big headache. She got the kids, I used to have a gorgeous house and she got that too. After the divorce I was left with barely enough to eat. So after all of that I wasn’t in any hurry to get married again. We went our separate ways last August,’ added Lord. ‘All she said to me was “I’m moving on to a better life.” http://www.nigeriatoday.ng/2017/08/richard-lord-the-woman-who-won-winning-758-7m-powerball-lottery-splits-with-her-partner-of-15yrs-in-2016/amp/ |

A Chinese referee abruptly ended a China League One reserve match because of fears he would miss his flight. This incident was confirmed by Hangzhou Greentown Chengdu Economic Daily. The club said the official left their game against Meixian Techand last weekend, because the area’s nearest airport only had one daily service of his planned route. The first half was only at 40 minutes, while the second period was stopped at only 38 minutes. The Chinese Football Association has launched an investigation into the incident. http://nigeriannewsdirect.com/referee-abandons-match-to-catch-flight/

I once told my girlfriend its over and I refused to pick her calls afterwards but she kept on calling when I eventually picked she begged and apologized and now we are back together deeply in love with one another. Never bring down your ego before a woman give her the space she asked for if she call fine if she doesn't move no time. Isaiah 4:1 has become a reality. |
The midwife is advising men to suck the br**sts of their wife thoroughly. Men must suck the br**sts of their partners regularly to help women fight against chest cancer, a midwife, Madam Mary Azika has said. She was speaking at a seminar organised at the weekend by the Upper East Regional Chapter of the Distance Education Students Association of Ghana (DESAG) of the University of Cape Coast (UCC). According to her: “The lump in the chest is painless. It’s so small that if you don’t examine it well, you would not know. We have chest tissues; but when the lump is there and you don’t examine it well, you won’t know. It’s painless. It can be there for years. “When it’s advanced, that’s when you start getting the signs and symptoms. You’ll feel some tingling, like some pins [spiking] the br**sts. You are not breastfeeding but when you squeeze the bosom you would see some discharge, either yellow or [bloody]. By the time you start feeling some pain, it means you have reached the advanced stage.” “And the best way to prevent chest cancer is to encourage breastfeeding. The baby can be sucking, your husband can also enjoy it. The men can examine their wives’ and their girlfriends’ br**sts. The men should also suckle the women’s br**sts. Don’t allow your wife to get chest cancer. Sucking of the chest is good,” she said. http://www.informationng.com/2017/08/suck-womens-brsts-stop-cancer-midwife-pleads.html/amp

Getting hitched can be quite overwhelming. While finding true love is an awesome experience, there are so many things to consider, besides the actual wedding of course. Marriages are all really different; you pretty much make your own rules to suit each other’s needs and expectations. Different strokes for different folks! Some partners won’t tolerate their other half keeping close friendships with the opposite sex, while others would rather have separate bedrooms. If you talk about it, lay out the dos and don’ts before the wedding bells, then you’ll be well equipped when the issue comes up. So if you’re planning on getting hitched in the near future, here are a few things that are worth discussing with your partner before the D-day! 1. Bank accounts and business When you decide to spend the rest of your life with someone, you’ve pretty much agreed to merge finances. You share their losses and wins, well in most cases. And if you decided to get a prenuptial agreement, it doesn’t make your spouse’s financial business any less yours. First of all, you need to know exactly what businesses your partner is dealing with; just to avoid finding out anything shocking when you’re married. Finding out if there’s outstanding debt and how much income you both have coming in helps to plan your life because you’ll need to pay future bills, run a functioning house hold and put money aside for savings. Finally, it’s important to ask “are we having separate, joint accounts or both?” It is important to be clear on financial matters, as the topic often gets tricky during hard times in the relationship. 2. Career paths If you’re single, you can wake up one day and decide to become an astronaut. But when you’re in a marriage, you might just have to stick to the plan. It’s really assuring to know that you’re in it together and your plans are in sync so don’t be afraid to ask all the necessary questions to put your mind at ease. You should be asking; what are the long-term goals? Is this job sustainable for us? Essentially you should be clear on both paths so you can support each other in attaining career goals, and have a future plan for your family. 3. Family planning When it comes to building a family, the lives of the parents aren’t the only thing to be considered. While babies sometimes creep up on you when you don’t plan for them, it’s best to be realistic, these are economically challenging times and you need money to build a family. You also need to consider your lifestyles and the size of your living space, be honest with how much you can take on. Other possible questions include what happens if one partner is infertile, are you open to fertility treatments or adoption? When is the right time to have children? 4. Sex Most people think being in a marriage automatically means that having sex with a third party is no longer an option. Well, not really because you can set the rules in your marriage. Can you be committed to sleeping with one person for the rest of your life? Would you consider an open marriage? What does infidelity mean to you? As awkward as it may sound, to each his own, the aim is to understand fully what you’re getting yourself into. http://guardian.ng/life/love-and-relationships/things-couples-should-discuss-before-tying-the-knot/amp

Valerie had no hope of furthering her education until an illiterate Okada rider offered to help her with the intention of marrying her. My name is Valerie, a 26-year-old lady working with an oil firm in Lagos. I know many people will castigate and condemn me after reading my story but I beg you not to judge me. Just put yourselves in my shoes and tell me what you would do if you are confronted with this dilemma. I know the decision I have taken will not sit well with some people but then, I have my life to live. I have been in a relationship with Basil for over 10 years now but I have now outgrown him and want to call it quits but I don't know the best way to go about it without looking like an ingrate and a gold digger. I was just about 16 and in Senior Secondary School 2 [SSS II], when I lost my parents in an accident. After their sudden death, there was no one to sponsor me in school and I had to drop out and had to go and live with my grandmother in the village. Things were becoming so difficult for me when Basil came to the village for Christmas. One of my aunts introduced him to me and he asked for my hand in marriage with the promise to send me back to school. He told me he was a commercial motorcyclist in Lagos and that he would do all he could to assist me. True to his words, Basil registered me in a secondary school where I sat for my school certificate examinations and when I got admission into the university, he also agreed to sponsor me. He did all these with the hope of getting married to me in future which I accepted. While in school, I was always telling him to try and upgrade himself but he kept promising to do so without making any effort. Even when I came to visit him in Lagos, I was shocked at the place he stayed but I tried my best to hide my dismay. To cut the long story short, I am now a graduate with a good job and I think I have outgrown him. He is illiterate and I cannot see myself getting married to him. I met this guy who is a lawyer and he has proposed marriage to me and after telling him about Basil, he said he would pay off anything he spent on me. But my problem is how to tell Basil that I am not ready to marry an illiterate. How would people in our village look at me? My happiness is that he did not pay anything on my head which would make him lay a claim on me. http://www.pulse.ng/gist/i-have-outgrown-my-boyfriend-i-want-to-move-on-id7142794.html |
Please I want to know if Deloitte is still recruiting. I need urgent response please. Thank you |
It is important to always know the do's and don't of a particular country before applying for a visa or leaving a country for another. The purpose behind the travel visa is simple. You are communicating to the country of destination that you would like to visit, the purpose of your visit, the duration of your stay and that you will not become a burden on the government of that country should you fall ill or experience a mishap. 1) When planning your trip, do not make the mistake of thinking your travel agent or the airline will be able to tell you if you need a visa. Make sure you find out for yourself. You can find out if you need a visa by going to the U.S. State Department website: http://travel.state.gov/visa/visa_1750.html, there is a lot of terrific information to be found here including notes for Americans on safety and security overseas. 2) Make sure your passport has at least 4-6 blank pages, your visa won't need that many but many of the consulates require at least two blank pages; this is an easy excuse for them to give you a hard time. If you need more pages they're easy to get through theo National passport processing office. You can find information the process on the State Department's website. 3) Make sure your passport isn't going to expire for a while. The passport's expiration date must be greater than six months from the date of entry for the visa you are applying for. If your passport does not meet the requirements, you must renew your passport. 4) Your visa application. This is where you really need the assistance of a good travel visa service. You'll find that many of the visa applications are quite confusing. There are language usage differences that may have you scratching your head. If you are not sure, ask, do not guess, errors on forms can be costly. 5) Passport photographs. This is one I had a particularly difficult time getting my boss to do. Go to your post office or perhaps you have a drug store or photo processing store that takes passport photographs, get them, and if you are traveling a lot get a lot of extra photos. Most often you are required to submit two passport photographs with your visa application. You may get away with only providing one, you may get away with submitting a digital you took and printed on photo paper. It's not worth the risk. Get the extra photos. 6) Include your travel itinerary. Most applications require you include your travel plans as proof of entrance and exit dates. This would be the itinerary you get with your tickets or from the airline/travel agent. 7) Make sure you make copies of everything you send the consulate or visa travel service. This doesn't include your passport of course, but it's a good idea to make a copy of the first page in your passport just for your records. You will be sending your passport with your visa application and other paperwork. Include a copy of your driver's license. This isn't a hard and fast rule, but just good policy. A lot of times a country may require this but neglect to mention or they may decide they want more identification information. This is a "Just in Case" preventative measure.9) Do not forget the fee. If you are using a visa travel service, most likely you can simply provide your credit card number. If you are not, you will most likely have to provide a check for their fee as most of the consulates do not take credit cards. 10) A key challenge is the decision to appear at the embassy or consulate or simply overnight your application and materials to the appropriate place. In many cases, there won't be an option as the embassy or consulate is too far to travel to. If you are doing this on your own and are able, it may be prudent to go to the embassy or consulate yourself. Base your decision dependent on your time and patience level. http://www.247nigerianewsupdate.co/2017/07/must-read-top-10-essential-keys-to-know.html |

*WHO KNOWS TOMORROW ??* In 1985, Dasuki arrested Buhari. In 2016, Buhari arrested Dasuki. In 1995, Al Mustapha arrested Obasanjo on the order of General Abacha. In 1999, Obasanjo arrested Al Mustapha and he was jailed for 8 years. In 2010, Prof Osinbajo was answerable to Gov Fashola as one of his commissioner. In 2017, Fashola became answerable to Acting President Osibanjo as one of his minister. In 2005, Diego Simeone was under Fernando Torres. Torres was the Club Captain despite being far younger than Simeone; but He did what Torres ordered. In 2016, Diego Simeone is now Fernando Torres coach. Torres now takes orders from Simeone. In the 90's under Rawlings regime Dr. Spio Gabriel was the minister of communications and Mahama was his deputy. Today John Mahama is the President and has employed his former boss as minister. Life is like a COIN thrown up in the air. You can't really predict which side will turn up. *NO ONE STAYS ON TOP FOREVER. IT'S JUST A MATTER OF TIME AND SEASON.* That Person you Despised/Ridiculed/Treated like shits and act like GOD over today, may have control over your Life/Career or Save your head tomorrow. NO ONE KNOWS TOMORROW!. Treat everyone with respect and show some kindness because there will always be a tomorrow. Be good to all! A Boss today might become a Subordinate tomorrow because there's no permanent state in life. *ALWAYS USE YOUR POWERS AND POSITIONS CAUTIOUSLY AND FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL.* Always stand for what is right, fair and just. Like Mugabe said: "...treat the towel with care because the same place you used in cleaning your bottom today might be the same place you will use in cleaning your face tomorrow." *REMEMBER THIS, NO ACT OF KINDNESS IS A WASTE! OUR PRIME PURPOSE IN LIFE IS TO HELP OTHERS AND IF YOU CAN NOT HELP THEM, AT LEAST DO NOT HURT THEM!* *THANK YOU ALL!!! SEE YOU AT THE TOP...* Who would have taught,Nokia 3310 would be a forgotten phone in the midst of Androids. No one knows tomorrow.....

1) Nnamdi Kanu attended University of Nigeria (Nsukka) with the help of Federal Government of Nigeria scholarship grant. 2) Nnamdi Kanu was born in 1972 implying that he never experienced Biafra- Nigeria civil war (1967-1970) and the resultant horrors. 3) The father of Nnamdi Kanu is a village head in Abia State (Nigeria) who receive monthly salary from Federal Government of Nigeria. 4) Nnamdi Kanu's wife and children are British citizens who cannot speak the Igbo language. 5) Nnamdi Kanu is a British citizen. (Note): if there is war in Nigeria today, Britain will send warship to Nigeria and rescue Nnamdi Kanu back to London leaving behind his 'blind, deaf and mute' supporters to suffer effects of war. 6) Nnamdi Kanu said he is of Jewish Religion. (Note): Reading books from two foremost Igbo historians (Professor Ifeatu Afigbo and Professor Kenneth Dike), I was made to understand that there is no place for Jewish Religion in Igboland. Rather, the Igbos are usually Catholics, Anglicans and Traditionalists. 7) Nnamdi Kanu said he is greater compared to Jesus Christ. (Note): With this statement, it is glaring to state here that Nnamdi Kanu is mentally deranged. Thanks By: Ofie Chukwuka |
Three Badoo gang members went on a dare devil mission to Ogogbe (Beach road) in Ikorodu on Saturday night but couldn't successfully execute their task, because a dog (Pictured below) did not allow them. The dog barked tremendously that every one in the community rushed out with weapons. One member of the gang was caught while others escaped. Unfortunately before the residents arrived at the scene they had hit the dog with dangerous weapons and on Sunday morning, the dog was confirmed dead.

ExpiredNigeria:Pursue referendum in a peaceful manner and not by chest beating or war mongering like some people do. I don't want to talk about the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights because the UN is a toothless bull dog. In Fela's voice "Watin unite for United Nations" |
DID YOU KNOW THAT: During the Nigerian Civil War, while Britain was sending sugar, butter and milk to the Biafrans, the same Britain was selling weapons to the Nigerian troops in Lagos. Britain gained immensely from that civil war while Nigeria and Biafra lost badly in everything and on all sides, all the billions the young country (Nigeria was just seven years old then) was supposed to use for development, they used to fight and kill themselves, our economy is yet to recover till date and that is not to mention the three million brains wasted. If any civil war happens again, the same people who will benefit will not be the careless and ignorant youths screaming and calling for war, it will be the sellers of the weapons, you can see how President Donald Trump is selling weapons to both Saudi Arabia and Qatar at the same time while some comedians are taking sides. Who gained from the deal? United States. It is all a game and if you are not smart, you will keep making a fool of yourself as a nation. If Saudi Arabia and Qatar start killing themselves tomorrow, it is none of the business of the weapon seller, they will even sell them more to finish themselves, just as the Americans are selling to the Saudis to finish off the Yemenis. The new world order simply has no time for stupid people, if you want to kill yourselves because you don't have sense, they will happily sell to you all the weapons you need, they will even help you upgrade and do maintenance for 'free'. After all they did not force the weapons on you, you demanded for them out of your own foolishness. That is why you will see in many African countries like South Sudan and Congo where people are starving to death because there is no food but in these same countries they always have money to buy plenty weapons to kill themselves. You then begin to wonder how people who are so poor they cannot feed themselves are able to get countless AK-47s. It is left for the people of Africa especially the youths to use their brains and learn from history. As young Nigerians, make your leaders in government accountable, stop defending anyone based on sentiments because it will NEVER favour you, insist on good governance and a just and fair system that will provide abundant opportunities for everyone. The world owes you nothing. Wisdom is always profitable to direct and there is no misunderstanding that dialogue cannot resolve. After all, all wars are ended on the dialogue table. I have said my own. Copied from:
