I dont know much about American politics other than its history but recent mid-terms in 2022 shows 77% of Gen Z voted in favor for the Democrats thats got the GOP pissing their pants. They are attemptting to up the voting age to 21 since most of their base is made up of old baby boomers and 5 million new young voters will be eligible to vote in 2024.

Plus the demographic shift that doesn't favor the Republicans.

Young people always vote overwhelmingly liberal. I was pretty liberal myself in my teens/early 20’s and a big supporter of Obama in 2008.

What your analysis fails to take into account is the fact that people tend to get more conservative as they age and get real life responsibilities, jobs, families, kids etc. people always talk like Gen Z are going to remain kids forever. They are gonna grow up too.
