Ronaldo is 42, he should no longer be involved in most games. He is too old to be leading the Portuguese attack.
There is a difference between natural ability and you working ya a** out. Football is just natural to messi not forced. That's the truth even if am a Ronaldo fan He is 41, not 42 |

If i say targeted assassination of egregiously corrupt politicians will fix some things, most Nigerians would criticize you for even thinking of something like that. The soft hearted are as wicked as evil perpetrators. They just don't know. Unfortunately, most Nigerians are that lukewarm. Thinking it will be better by other means. But have the other means worked? While the former came to the office after the constitution was amended. A good law does not take a retroactive effect in case of Jonathan. Aiyedatiwa has completed his former boss tenure and he will do 4 years and that is the end. He will do less than eight years. For this comment The latter is Aiyedatiwa The former is GEJ |

I recall reading, not too long ago, a thread where a brother detailed how the good man he introduced to his sister turned out to be a weapon of abuse against her life. Kwinesther: You go advice tire, you never see anything. It is you men that are teaching these ladies not to love you and they have really learnt! On several occasions, you have proven it beyond reasonable doubt that women that loves and respect you the most suffers the most but you fear and respect women that shows you pepper.
All those our aunties that loved you men with everything they had, stood with you through thick and thin what was their reward? Annie had never known any man apart from 2face since she was 16 when 2face had nothing, he became a drop out and started impregnating different women before and even after their marrige she never left and no scandal whatsoever has been heard about Annie even though she is not perfect as no one is, what was her reward? DIVORCE... 2face affirmed that Annie really love him but he's scared because Annie loves him too much. As in you left a woman that loves you too much to be with a toxic and violent woman which Nigerian men claimed to be peaceful?
What about May and Yul Edochie and many others?, Same thing happened but you still expect same ladies after seeing all these to still give you men their all, you think they are fools or what? Queen Esther, do not become jaded by stories of pessimism and wretched capitalist bad-news bearers, there are men of stature and balance in their multitudes, who honour and love their LOYAL women, as they should. |

Nairaland General › ICAN: Adequate Discipline And Organization Not Displayed - November 2025 Diet by MerchantMNT(op): 9:36pm On Nov 21, 2025 |
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) just concluded the November 2025 exams.
I sat for one of the papers on the 20th of November 2025, Thursday, at the UNILAG center, and I was disappointed in the conduct of the organizers. The paper was slated for 1:45 - 5pm, so we queued ahead of time to get into the exam hall. That is when we were told that the invigilators were eating, and we could not gain access. Under the strain of the hot sun blaring down on our heads, there were murmurs that the invigilators had gathered to eat together at the same exact time, so WAIT!, you will. And we did. Grunting, complaining, and trying to stay alert for the impending accounting problems we had to solve.
After the delay of about 30 minutes, we were mercifully allowed back into the exam hall, but with the grim, unapologetic faces of the invigilators.
We are who we are.
One of ICAN's Code of Ethics is Professional Competence & Professional Behaviour.
For an examination held twice a year, and a total of 6 days. 3 days in May, and 3 days in November, could it not have been a seamless and perfect operation? And even if there were glitches here and there, should we now in 2025 be having excuses like "the invigilators are eating"?
ICAN is meant to be an apex body of excellence, and that should include its personnel. |
