i am sorry to say this, but it will..a credit is needed in mathematics for mass communication. i also had this problem last year..i had a d7 but luckily my neco gave me a c5.
Although i heard a pass might be accepted but on the other hand You might be moved to another department.
Just relax God might put things in your favour.
