Good morning TV gurus.
I have this 50" Sony Bravia smart TV that I bought in 2021.
I returned from work to see that my little nephew and niece had broken the screen and instead of fixing it, I decided to get a new one.
But recently for some reasons, I decided to fix the TV after being abandoned for about 2 years. I had the screen replaced and I confirmed it was working perfectly while it was with the repairer. I sent someone to bring it home (I wasn't around at the time). While I returned after about 2 weeks, I turned it on and noticed four vertical lines on it. I am not sure if it fell or anything but the lines weren't obstructing the view and I decided to look past it.
But in less than a month, it started flickering, like it now flickers so much that I can't even enjoy watching it again. The money I spent on logistics and screen replacement could comfortably get me a new one and it's painful. My questions anyways are, was I sold a damaged screen or something happened to it during conveyance? Or the over two years abandonement could be a cause of this? Is there a solution please, TV experts?

the only mistake you made was to go repair it with tv engr...... You shud have taken it to Sony care station if they have one....

TV engr will and cannot get u the original screen unless it is taken from an original TV with damaged motherboard..

He fixed a screen for you but not an original screen.. Ńa Chinese screen...

The only mistake is dt u went to fix it when u shud have sold or disposed it and buy a new TV
