Ajilek Farms request capital investment from interested individuals or corporate entities in the sum of N1,310,000 (48%) of the capital requirement for the production of Turkey Chicks (Day-old).

Turkey and Chicken meat accounted for over 50% of Nigerians meat consumption. However, more than 90% of Turkey consumed in Nigeria are being imported due to low investment in the sector. Many farmers who produce Turkey in Nigeria are doing so in small holdings and predominantly producing local breeds.

Demand for Foreign Breeds of Turkey Chicks is always in excess of demand irrespective of the season. A research conducted in major farmers markets in Ibadan indicates an average weekly demand of 12,000 units. These demands cannot be met by few suppliers in the market making the unit price remain attractive.

In Nigeria, accessibility to Foreign Breeds of Turkey which grow very fast is difficult due to the modern technological applications in its production. Due to the weight of these Foreign Breeds, natural mating is practically impossible hence the need for Artificial Insemination (AI).

In this project, we are making use of Artificial Insemination (AI) not only to make mating possible but also to achieve 80 85% fertility rate for high productivity and profitability. We have acquired necessary training to undertake this project successfully.

This project if undertaken will be one if its kind in Ibadan thereby making it an innovation that will contributes to brand development.

THE PROJECT
We seek to produce maximum of 3,360 units of chicks monthly. This is approximately 7% of monthly demands. This will give us stability and eradicate the risk that could come up from market fluctuation. The capital of N1,310,000 required from investor is needed to procure parent stocks, fixed assets and other equipment making it risk free for the investor(s) as these can be easily converted to cash in case of unforeseen failure. However, all the running cost and other working capital will be provided by the promoters including the project management.

INVESTMENT
A total sum of N2,721,900 is required for this project. The promoters have provided N1,411,900 (52%) while the sum of N1,310,000 (48%) is required in term finance from investor(s) to make the project worthwhile. After 8 months of investment, the investor(s) will receive 12% of investment monthly for 12 months after which the initial investment will be paid back.

This is the most lucrative investment an investor can get in agribusiness.
