Thomas Tuchel has proved himself to be one of the best coaches in the world. Leading PSG to their first champions league final in a very long time , and coaching top german clubs .
Chelsea's performance this season hasn't lived up to expectation with the number of top caliber signings made , and the amount of money spent by the club to bring in players like Kai Havertz , Hakim Ziyech, to mention but a few.This poor form saw manager and club legend Frank Lampard sacked.
It is fair to say that Frank Lampard's time at Chelsea was a very interesting one, from transfer ban in his first season to the development of young players from the clubs academy the likes of Mason Mount , Tammy Abraham etc. Thomas Tuchel on the other hand is one who loves working with young players Mario Gomez, Holger badstuber .
The germans style of play is one that also fits the English outfit with the quality of midfielders present at the club , his possession based style of play,with a water tight defense, combined with deadly attacking flair makes his team most formidable , and an interesting team to watch.
While he may not be loaded like Jose Mourinho or pep Guardiola, the big question remains; will he be the man to lead Chelsea back to the champion's and premier league titles? Only time will tell.
