All these are not correct. Let me explain 1. The state of emergency IS NOT what Wike would want. Why, the State of emergency has now successfully been able to prevent a fully planned impeachment against Fubara. I swear he himself knows this. Meaning that; by 6 months, all waring parties would have piped down. Everyone would have lost his strategy. 2. The state of emergency actually stopped what by now would have gone out of control. 3. As i was urged to blame wike, common sense makes me change. The president, according to VDM, charged Fubara to meet wike and agree to the promises they had. This happened in time of Obasanjo, Ladoja amd Adedibu in Oyo state. This same statement was made by OBJ to Ladoja who refused and was impeached. So.... If you'll not live by it why accept it? We all went again god-fatherism of Oshiomole against Obaseki only for same Obaseki doing same to his intended successor 3. Promise is promise. If you could fail the promise of 1 man, you'll definitely fail that of the whole nation. Other men left politics because of these 4. Ibas was the most senior past officer and also havs proven to be capable of preventing all these pipeline bombings. His achievements speaks for him irrespective of his affiliation. 5. I think its PDP, my party trying to destroy the peace of the state. Fubara would have been there for 8 years and obeying his political father. They wanted cause discord between them and wike knows this. 6. Wike isn't fighting Fubara. He's fighting PDP who wants to whittle his political power and influence in Rivers. So.... Nigerians as a whole need stand up and keep a very good eye on this lady. She seems to want to BLACKMAIL her way through to get whatever and this will be VERY VERY DANGEROUS for Nigeria as a whole as she could be holding the Nation in its jugular. Akpabio was a governor over 12 years ago. Why does she raise this now  This is more than meet the eye. To me, she's trying to use a "WOMAN POWER" to get her goals. Her presence in the senate is even dangerous for the nation as a whole. She's not a SAINT she's claiming to be. No woman with moral upbringing will go kissing in public to the whole world. The coup was an ethnic one and that ethnicity were the Igbo! Those that have misinterpreted his words and have said that he wrote that the coup was not an Igbo coup are either misguided and misinformed or are being mischievous. They have a poor understanding of the English language and in the main have not even read the book and instead are relying on erroneous social media qoutes and well crafted disinformation. I suggest that they procure a copy of the book, read it from cover to cover and stop attempting to revise history by misinterpreting the words of the esteemed author. IBB, in his characteristic manner, was charitable to the Igbos in his book but that does not give anyone licence to misinterpret his words and conclusions or use them in an attempt to revise history. The facts are clear and they are as follows. 99% of the officers that planned and executed the Jan. 15th 1966 coup and that were involved in the mutiny were Igbo and 99% of those that were murdered by them were non-Igbo military officers and political leaders in some cases including their wives. We owe it to the memory of those that were so callously slaughtered not to sugar coat the bitter truth, not to revise history and not to tell lies. The coup was UNMISTAKEABLY an Igbo one and IBB made this very clear when he wrote about its "ethnic coloration". I urge all those that have a poor understanding of the English language and that cannot read more than three lines of any book or essay to stop using his words to establish their revisionist and patently dishonest narrative and their futile attempt to perpetuate an age-old lie. USAID Funded Boko Haram, Other Terror Groups – US Congressman US Congressman, Scott Perry, has said that US aid agency, United States Agency for International Development, funded terrorist organisations, including Boko Haram. Perry, a Republican representing Pennsylvania, made the claim during the inaugural hearing of the Subcommittee on Delivering on Government Efficiency on Thursday. The session, titled “The War on Waste: Stamping Out the Scourge of Improper Payments and Fraud,” focused on alleged misappropriations of taxpayer funds. “Who gets some of that money? Does that name ring a bell to anybody in the room? Because your money, your money, $697 million annually, plus the shipments of cash funds in Madrasas, ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Boko Haram, ISIS Khorasan, terrorist training camps. That’s what it’s funding,” Perry said. According to the subcommittee’s website, it will “actively work with President Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency to root out waste, shore up vulnerable payment systems, and fully investigate schemes to defraud taxpayers.” Perry further cited USAID’s reported funding of $136 million for building 120 schools in Pakistan, alleging that there was “zero evidence” of the schools’ construction.
