TravelRe: USA Fiancee (K1) Visa Thread by metroatl: 8:51pm On Jun 01, 2022
Right. But her case was different going by her travel history. She gave birth in the US with her B1/B2 back in 2015. And then applied for a renewal with her husband in 2016. The question would be who petitioned for her in 2020. Was it the same person who was at the embassy with her, or she was divorced and the ex husband remained in the US. The red flag lies somewhere in Between.

sharpman1:
Previous travels or B1/B2 visa has zero impact a K1 petition.

I had a valid b1/b2 visa and I had traveled to the US twice within the past 1.5 years as at the time I had my K1 interview.

Sorry about this. I think you were denied due to your previous travels to the US. I see you’ve renewed your b1/b2 recently. And you once gave birth in the US. The red flag might be from these. Did the same person who traveled to the US with you back then your petitioner? You need to state the reason why you were denied, even if you’re going for CR1 route so people can help if at all. Don’t give up

With a heavy heart my journey came to an end yesterday as my visa was denied.

Hello guys, I have been following this thread for a while. I have few questions to ask, My fiancée and I are already engaged and we filled for k1 petition last year, so we’re just waiting for the approval. However, myself and my fiancée plan to have 2 weddings, one in the US and one in Nigeria. pls I need someone to enlighten me, as we’re about to go ahead with our big wedding in Nigeria first!(probably after we’d be done with the K1 visa interview) but not before leaving Nigeria. As I want us to get the Nigeria celebration done with. Then we will be having the ceremonial one in the US as per the K1 regulations. I would like to know, if going ahead with the Nigeria wedding won’t affect our K1 application in anyway, whenever the case is ready, and during interview and entering the US? Of course the registry will be in the US! Thank y’all
