E joo o na beg I dey beg ooo. If you dont know your genotype, pls go for a test and be informed now.

Dont wait till you have gone deep into a relationship or you are set to tie the knot(and you probably cant turn back) then you now start asking questions about genotype and you'ld be like "what's your genotype?"

In the real sense that should be one of the first question you should ask before "Would you marry me?"

anytime i remember the way the doctors attended to her when she was hospitalized(the 1st and last in my 19years with her), i just cant help but pray for them (the other way round though). They were just so annoying. Didnt attend 2 her urgently and when they did, it was like she was just normal when in the real sense she wasnt (cuz at that point her pcv was as low as 7%!).

Wanted to transfer her but they kept say they got everything under control (stupid us) until they saw she was bout to leave us. Then they quickly referred us elsewhere.

When we arrived at the other hospital and the doctor called me in for questioning, (at that time grandma couldnt talk anymore) after going through the referral letter, he just screamed "mama is a sickler?" - guess he couldnt believe his eyes.

Then as I started explaining things to him (beginning with "it all started..."wink, someone rushed in to inform us she was dead.

Abali1: Your grand was truely a Warrior, I doff my hat.
Her kind is one of the reasons why we the younger ones still have hope, that our expctations in life will not be cut off.
It is okay to cry sometimes when you remember, but I am happy you made this comment. A woman who saw her children and grandchildren, you should be proud of your grandma for proving medical science wrong. I believe she has to weather so many storms and negative remarks, and still fought on to a ripe old age of 76.
Rest in Peace Mama.

wanna hide sumfn 4rm a blackman? Just put it in a written format, u guyz should stop all diz tribal sh*t nd appreciate Prof. Awojobi's work.
I am sure u guys didnt read d gist bout autonov1 on wikipedia especially doz wu r calling it a dustbin van.

Dz was done in da 70's. Bet u cant get any beta exterior design at dat time.

And those asking about its usefulness,
Read da full gist.
Autonov 1 is the name given to the automobile novelty that was created sometime in the 1970s, by making a once regular motor vehicle engine able to run in both the forward and backward directions, utilizing all four
pre-existing gears in whichever direction.[1][2]
Purpose of design Its inventor, the late engineering
professor Ayodele Awojobi , imagined the advantage of the invention in such
a situation as when a motor vehicle drives forward into a cul-de-sac and needs to make a fast, backward retreat. Emergency evacuation procedures or war-time situations exemplify this.
Patent and specification
A patent for the invention was never obtained before the inventor's untimely death. An abandoned Layland jeep was utilized for the invention and it is to this day, displayed at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Lagos during the said faculty's "Engineering week". It basically consists of a jeep, with a second steering wheel built-in at the rear end that connects the axle. A gear-shift is also built here that connects, through a built-in mechanism, to the already pre- existing four gears, such that the hybrid vehicle can be driven on all four gears, in both forword and backward directions. The jeep's central compartment was re-designed to have a rotating floor mechanism that can swivel an occupant from the rear seat, to the front one and vice-versa. Short of dismantling it piece-meal, the detailed knowledge of the designed mechanism is unknown as no drawings or design sketches are known to exist.

MTN Nigeria rakes in N749 billion
revenues

www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-620706.0.html

As MTN Nigeria Communications
Limited turns 10, it has every reason to
celebrate. The company’s
shareholders in South Africa took a
massive gamble on the Nigerian
market when they decided to pay $ 285 million for a GSM licence following
an auction held by the Nigerian
Communications Commission in
February 2001.
Today, not only is MTN Nigeria the
jewel in the MTN Group’s crown, its success story has proven that with the
right business strategy and marketing
guile, Nigeria can turn out an investors
dream, despite the challenges of
operating in the terrain.
This was evident in the survey conducted by THISDAY last week on
MTN Nigeria’s operations which
showed that in 10 years, the company
grossed a total of N2.988 trillion in
revenues between March 2001 and
December 2010, and posted profits after tax amounting to N857.655
billion during the same period.

In 10 years, the company has also grown its subscriber base from
327,000 in its first year of operation
ending March 2002 to 40.5 million
revenue generating subscribers by
June 2011, representing 52 percent of
market share and accounting for 26.6 percent of the MTN Group subscriber
mix, comprising South Africa, Iran and
other countries where the company
operates.
But it has not been a bed of roses for
MTN in Nigeria, as its first financial result in 2002 showed that it reported
a loss after tax of N5.091 billion, but
was able to turn this around by the
next year by investing in an
aggressive network expansion
programme. Between 2001 and 2010, the
company’s results indicated that MTN
Nigeria invested N887.577 billion in
fixed assets, enabling the company to
build the largest network in the
country comprising approximately 7,000 base transceiver stations, the
largest switch in the world, the largest
transmission network in terms of fibre
and microwave in Africa, and has
landed a submarine cable in the
country to complement the bandwidth capability in Nigeria.
Funding its investment in the network
required MTN to seek short and long
term financing of N1.143 trillion from
local and international markets during
the 10 year period. Having enjoyed the pioneer status
granted GSM operators, which were
exempted them from paying company
income tax in the first five years of
operations, MTN Nigeria, nonetheless,
has paid taxes (starting in 2006), sundry levies and annual operating
levies to the federal government and
the NCC totaling N546.113 billion.
