Thank you, we do have joint account that I plan to use, does that work OyoTunjiUSA: Hey 🤠
1. The only avenue right now for your mom is to apply under Medical Emergency which must be ratified by your hospital/clinic in the USA stating a forseen consequences if you do not have a stand-by helper as soon as you give birth. If she apply ordinarily under tourist and pleasure she might not secure a VISA appointment this year or sooner.
2. Although, your husband is your family by marriage but i would rather you acted as her funder of the trip as her real biological child. Tell your hubby to merge your financial resources together and direct it into one account (yours). Explaining multi-sponsors in front of the consular officer might look like struggling to merge financial resources which is not actually available.
3. Yes , those ties you mentioned are kinda good ties if you put it together very well. No, she does not need to prove she can sponsor herself if you or your hubby stand as her sponsor and ipso facto, she must attend her VISA interview with proof of funds from either of you depending on who she eventually chosed as her sponsor.
PS: Other experts can give you additional clues.
Best Wishes 🙏 |

Thank you ezinwaJesu: If you can meet all the stringent requirements to secure a B1/B2 visa at this COVID period, then visiting him may be a good idea. Where that is not a feasible option, the best bet will be for him to visit Nigeria and meet with you and your family members with different pictures to enable him go back to the US and file a k1 petition for you. If I were you, I will convince him to visit Nigeria. Either way, you still make the decision.
Cheers. |

Travel › US Visit Visa For Mum by MhizzB(op): 9:33pm On Jul 24, 2024 |
Hi everyone, please I need help filing for a visit visa for my mum. For context, I am a US permanent resident that would be having a baby soon and I want my mum to come visit us and meet her grandchild. She is 55 has a business, my dad is late. Can I and my husband's sponsor her trip, she can show home ties like she owns a school, the house my father built(land documents), her being next of kin for his pension and gratuity, other kids still in Nigeria. Does she need to proof she can sponsor her self when she is coming to visit me |

Thanks, already told him. His words were ""So I come first. Get all the pictures, propose and then come back and file the k-1? I just don’t know if during that period when I’m waiting for approval if you can come to stay or visit ezinwaJesu: If you can meet all the stringent requirements to secure a B1/B2 visa at this COVID period, then visiting him may be a good idea. Hi everyone, Compliments of the season. I'm a bit confused and have some questions. I met a white guy on a dating app and he is very serious about me and wants us to get married next year. He wants me to visits the USA and meet his parents first before he comes down to Nigeria for the trad and wedding, but from what I read it looks like it's going to be easier for him to come to Nigeria first. I would like to know what you guys think would be easier. He is 34 and I am 25. Should he come to Nigeria first so we could have evidence of meeting and if possible apply for a K1 visa?. How easy would it be for me to get a visit visa to stay for like 15days,wouldn't the reason for visit seem weak? |
