An Afghan woman was beaten to death and her body was set on fire by a mob in Kabul on Thursday for allegedly burning a copy of the Quran.
Her parents said she was mentally challenged and wouldn’t have burnt the Quran intentionally. So many men beat her, set her on fire and thrown her remains into the Kabul River. The woman’s body was then thrown into the Kabul River,
The police were trying to disperse the angry crowd, who had gathered in the densely populated neighbourhood but to no avail.
