The invisible scorpion
With stingy liberal sting
How long will you keep parading
Yourself as the champion?
Death!

The ancient belly
With unsatisfying appetite
When will you come to the understanding
That humans are not your ally?
Dust!

On the beautiful day
On the glorious day
All the saints will chorus
“Oh where is your sting?”
“Oh where is your victory?”

We shall then have the last laugh
Happy and united with our beloved
Children embracing their fathers
Fathers embracing their wives
For our Saviour has swallowed death in victory

And Christ will wipe away all tears
In the glorious city of God
With the melodious tune by the celestial choir
Right there in sparkling golden city

Oh rejoice righteous bereaved
For the saints you lost are not lost
Anticipate for the beaming smiles
Look forward to the unquantifiable joy
Waiting to be shared when you all meet
For a great reunion, it shall be.

Op, can diz work for shy people

Every shy person can become a good public speaker. It only takes determination on his or her part.
"Public Speaking" by Carneigie is a very good book to overcome stage fright and shyness.

Good job Op.

We are in a generation where you must be able to express yourself before large audience. The exception is for those that are contented with being an average person.

Leaders are speakers.

Poems For Review / Bushy-headed, The Ignoramous by MIcdej(m): 3:28pm On Mar 31, 2016
I observed the gentleman’s poise
With confidence he strode in
He sat like a flaccid balloon
My eyes fastened on him as he was tucked in
Like a caterpillar in its diminutive cocoon
His hands completely encased without any resistance
His bushy hair like baboons’
Bushy, yet at the mercy of the other stranger

His eyes closed, his head rested
In the hands of the stranger
Parading series of sharp instruments
As the metal landed on his head
Accompanied by tractor-like sound
His face bared a painful expression
Yet, it was masked by his closed eyes
What a confidence! What a trust!

Amazingly, he came out alive
Appeared more handsome with his gaits
But his bushy head has disappeared
And charming smiles surfaced beneath his head
Seeing the shape of the head
Laced with the trimmed beard
Then I recognized him
We had met before, just a month ago

Yes, he was the same man
That lamented with a tone of bitterness
“It’s difficult to trust God when one is passing through
hell”
Then, his avowal was greeted with my muteness
But how come he knew the barber won’t cut his head?
And that the clipper’s pain will only make him look
better
Still lost in my thought, I kept wondering
Is it more difficult to trust The Maker than an Unknown
barber?

Dare your Fear

When fear is so near
And trial comes in pairs
Even when the scares are not mere
Don’t be afraid!

When you’re in dire need of it
And it seems it’s rare
Please spare the tears
Don’t cry!

When troubles stir your heart
And you double your might
But the bubbles tend to burst
Don’t panic!

When you’re tired of the situation
And your peers aren’t giving the inspiration
Nor your heart yielding the motivation
Don’t give up!

When the Seer sees no good in the year
And prayer seems not good enough
Then your gear isn’t good at all
Stir it up!

No fear, no tear,
For fear tears heart,
So, spare your tears
And dare the fear!
