drake2000x: Afonjas at it again...pushing Igbo crimes to Front Pages when Afonjas masterminded crimes litter the Nairaland crime section. See them blaming afonja as usual, that is their way of life. They must blame afonjas if their fathers can't folk their mothers very well. What a way of consolation. Back to the topic. No them, that is how they do kill their brothers. I am not surprised, they do sell their children just, I mean just to by okada. |
Romance › Re: Dating A Broke Guy Is Not A Guarantee He Will Marry You When He Becomes Rich by Michael004: 1:41pm On Jul 25, 2017 |
sekxy: Ithappened to two of my friends but lem me talk about one..
Their relationship started this time last 5years. When this my girlfriend was just in her under 20's. So this guy came to her when he had nothing. Though it took this my gf time to actually accept him. Then I would advice her to at least date when she turns 20 at least to know a lot about relationship but due to her love for the guy she accepted him.
Then the guy graduated from university and luckily for him he went for his NYSC shortly when my gf accepted his proposal.. Then this guy would visit her without giving her anything, they were loved up and she was cool with it..she loved him so much that nothing about him pisses her off..
hmmm, so many times this my gf would go to visit him but because he doesn't have money she would transport herself...the guy then loved her.. Maybe because he was still broke.. I would then ask this bae if she cheats on him but she would say no, even to the extend that she doesn't club or do any social stuff because of his guy, she prays and encouraged him.
Fast forward to this time last year, the guy started making money ..bought cars and started building ..he has many investments.
Just last two months she called and was crying that the guy had broken up with her and I was like ...please calm down and tell me what transpired. .she said that the guy chatted her up to tell her that he likes light skinned ladies...and that he doesn't love her enough to marry her because of her skin colour..
I called the supposed bf and the guy was actually telling me he Will cheat on her if he eventually marries her...but this bae suffered with him all this while for 4years and he didn't notice her dark colour until he started making money. This is what I hate to hear. She suffered with who? Did she help him to carry block or what? Abeg tell us here which type of suffering? |

Business › Re: Freelancing: A Quick Escape For Unemployment Among Nigerian Youths by Michael004: 11:55pm On Jul 24, 2017 |
Bigboyz32: While in the University, I promised myself that I wasn’t going to apply for any job after school. I stuck to it and kept learning as many skills and trying as many businesses as I can.
Of all the businesses I have tried, Freelancing was the best and most paying of them all. I still do it till now.
It’s over three years after school and I haven’t for a second thought of applying for any job, yet I earn more than many senior level workers in both federal and private sectors through freelancing.
Now, I’m not saying this to boast.
On the contrary, I’m writing this to encourage my fellow Nigerian youths, especially those who are unemployed or underemployed to look towards freelancing.
It’s the easiest business you can start from home with just your laptop and internet connection.
Yes, all you need is a computer and internet connection and you can start earning the type of money that will make your working class friends envy you.
What is Freelancing?
In case you don’t know is the art of selling your skill and time for money. The skill could be writing, graphic designs, typing, research, video animation, web design, music production, etc.
There are platforms where business owners around the world come to hire people with these skills and pay them for the needed services. When you register on those platforms, these business owners gets to see you and hire you to do a job for them.
They pay you in dollars according to the amount you both agree on. This is usually in dollars and that’s one of the most important reasons why I work on Freelance portal……at least, I will always live above recession.
How much can you make from Freelancing and how can you receive the money you earn?
You can earn from $500 (N180,000) and above per month, working from home and spending not more than five hours per day.
Personally, I earn between $850 and $2,500 (though I have earned up to $3,000 in a month twice since I began 20months ago). That is between N280,000 and N825,000 and most importantly, I work for less than 4hours daily.
You receive your money through Payoneer which is a payment option acceptable for Nigerians. Payoneer gives you a customized ATM card where every money you earn is loaded. Whenever you want to withdraw, you just slot it into any ATM machine and it will pay you the Nigerian equivalent. You can also use exchangers as they pay higher (black market rate) than banks.
I use this card to do shakara every time I go to an ATM. I like to use it to intimidate bankers as 90% of them have never seen such ATM……lol.
Again, I’m not saying this to boast, but to encourage you to stop complaining and whining about the unemployment in the country and start taking your own destiny into your own hands.
Which freelancing platform should you start with?
There are a whole lot of them: Fiverr, Upwork, Freelancer, FiverrUp, etc. But I always recommend Fiverr, maybe because that’s where I started and found huge success.
How much do you need to invest to get started?
Absolutely nothing, except maybe data, which can’t cost you more than 2K per month.
All you need is a laptop (some say phones work too, but I prefer laptop) and internet connection. With this, you are ready to start banking heavy income working from your room and earning a cool living.
Can you sustain a family with freelancing?
I added this question because I saw a Nairalander ranting that you can’t sustain a family on freelancing.
That is a fat lie.
I’m taking care of myself and my immediate family from my freelance income. I’m not married yet, but I have a fiancée who I also take care of through freelance.
If you treat freelancing as a business, it will pay you like a business owner.
How do I get started?
I can only show you how to start on Fiverr because that’s where I work. If you need help with other platforms, you can Google it or ask the question here on Nairaland to get help (I’m sure there are many Nairalanders earning huge income from this).
If you want to get started on Fiverr, I can guide help you with a very detailed tutorial for it here with images and illustrations so you can successfully register and start banking big cash.
Remember, you should stop ranting about the Government. Focus that energy to learn and start earning huge calms. When you are comfortable, you can easily face the Government without being deceived by their bag of rice sharing.
Good luck to you. If you want to learn how I did it, CLICK HERE. Boss, I am interested. I have laptop and phone that I can use. How do I get started and how do I contact you. |

FKO81: Poin of correction
Adetokunbo Ogundeyin I wanted to be a manufacturer. So we teamed up with some Colombians to set up Proforce in 2008. That was actually how we started the company. And the reason we founded the company, like I said, was due to the high level of insecurity in the country and all over the world. Nigeria is not isolated on this, because when you look at it, the same thing is happening in many countries across the world.
What exactly do you produce in your Ode Remo plant, and can the quality standard be compared with similar products elsewhere in the world? We make a lot of tactical vehicles, cash-in-transit vans; infantry combat vehicles, armoured patrol boats, Unmanned Arial Vehicles (UAV’s) and architectural armouring. We are now putting together a prototype military tank. Majority of these vehicles are second to none when you look at the quality. We have brought in expatriates that have a combined 70 years experience in armoring, and these are people who were the top guys where they were working before. They have transferred the technology to Nigerians who are coming up seriously fast. In fact, we have a couple armoured personnel carriers (APCs) that the Nigerian team put together and when you look at the quality of the finish, you can match it in quality with the APC’s the expatriate team made. So as he teamed up with Columbia to gain experience, that one Don turn him to igbo. Okay, tokunbo is from anambra. Is that okay by you? |
