Politics › Re: Incase Of An IPOB Mega Rally In Lagos, The Best Option For Yoruba People by Michael004: 3:24pm On Jul 30, 2017 |
[s] Warship: If Yoruba people have any iota of wisdom, they should approach IPOB to hold joint rally in Lagos to threaten the Hausa Fulani people to accept Restructuring or face Disintegration.
This will force the Northerners to accept Restructuring.
Fani Kayode, Fayose, Odumakin led Afenifere, OPC etc should spearhead the agreement with IPOB and stage this rally
Mark my words, NORTH WILL SUCCUMB [/s]You have been begging up and dan that Yoruba should join you. Sorry to disappoint you, WE DON'T NEED YOU. WE ARE NOT INTERESTED. Shikena |
Politics › Re: Incase Of An IPOB Mega Rally In Lagos, The Best Option For Yoruba People by Michael004: 3:20pm On Jul 30, 2017 |
[s] Doublecheck: Igbo's will not be breaking any law by protesting in Lagos as Nigerians. Why do Yorubas feel insecure at the slightest mention of Lagos. Each time Igbo's mention Lagos Yorubas go into panic mood. Why the insecurity? By Yoruba logic it is okay for Igbo's be remain in one Nigeria, use Lagos seaport, use Lagos international airport, apply for visa through Envoys in Lagos, etc as an only option.
However, it is NOT okay for Igbo's to protest in Lagos or express their dissatisfaction in Lagos, even when Igbo's are still one Nigerians and operate within the ambit of the law. I doubt Igbo's will move a muscle or blink an eye if Yorubas were to stage a protest in Enugu or Onitsha, I doubt Deltans will flitch if the Yorubas were to stage a protest in Asaba same applies with other Southern ethnic nationals in PH, Benin, Calabar, Uyo, Warri etc.
Ipob have held rallies in SE and SS states peacefully with no tribe crying fowl, what is it with Yoruba Obsession of Lagos, Nnamdi Kanu simply sees Lagos as a larger stage and podium to spread his message for just one day. However the action of the Yorubas on this day will seal the fate of Ndigbo and Yorubas, in reality Igbo's and Yorubas cohabit peacefully even OPC leader Gani Adam recently re-asserted he does not have any problems with the Biafra agitation and was not against the first Ipob protest in Lagos.
That said, e-rats are heating up the cyber space and if it translates to reality then Lagos will witness ethnic clashes between both group that could have been averted if one peaceful rally was allowed. Well, we know Lagos leaders are wise to ignore IPod for one day. Instead of replicating Mr presidents mistake thereby making Lagos officially the center stage for the struggle, coupled with ethnic clashes.
Like some have rightly stated, it is best Yoruba take advantage of the protest and own it; to also push their own interests, be it Regionalism, restructure, true federalism or presidency. However the option of threatening Ipob not to hold a protest in Lagos is DOA, as we have seen from previous protest those guys are formidable in their struggle, motivated and fueled by threats and are suicidal in their quest and resolve. Threat nor force can stop such people. [/s]We can never protest in any south east or south south states, nothing concerns us with them. We don't have to protest in the east before getting what we want. We don't shout, if it is restructuring, we have already stated in South West here. If it is referendum, we are in. We don't have problem. Stop panicking. Because of little shakara, you Don already started writing long epistle. Lagos is not north that is holding you back. Go and do your rally in Abuja, Kano or Kaduna. Those are the people holding you. Stop blaming us for your misfortune and be coward to face your northern masters. Enough said. |

Is that too much to ask? That can only happen if you bring your protest on Sunday or don't come at all. |

"......Every wise Yoruba person should quickly get Odua flags, meet IPOB and propose a combined rally in Lagos. While the Biafrans will continue their agitation for independence, the Yorubas with their flag threatening secession will definitely force the Northerners to accept Restructuring as a better alternative to Breakup. Fani Kayode, Odumakin , Fayose Afenifere and OPC leaders should lead this rally alongside the Biafrans.
This is the last chance to save Nigeria..........". Warship How many times has your ohaneze, your political leaders join you in the protest? |

Amarabae: Igbos need a voice to fight marginalised but I don't want a voice that will end up attracting huge enemity for the Igbos. Protesting in Lagos is looking for Yoruba trouble and attracting backlash to the law abiding Igbos doing business and living in Lagos. Kanu goofed on this one. He is turning into an arrogant man. Lack of diplomacy is one of the key problems in Problem. I like your statement, the same lack of diplomacy that destroyed ojukwu will destroy kanu. |

Most of our IT guys are just doing OK but they are not worthy to be counted when talking about wealth and should not be carried around like big time achievers. So, according to you, wealth is your own success. Chei, I am dissapointed in you. Why shifting the goal post? The topic read, most successful, you are talking of wealth. Most of the manufacturers you listed barely make profit and are just staying afloat; most of the IT guys you listed have never seen 50 million Naira in their lives. Nigeria is a consuming nation so apart from capitalists who are protected by govt eg Dangote, people who make money are I consumption and not production. I bet you that a normal guy selling spare parts in Alaba sees far more money than the so-called IT gurus In a year. [/s]Greatest mumu, you must have checked their account numbers to know that. [s] Rossikki: Nigeria will not let Biafra go.
Biafra accounts for 90% of FG revenue.
Expecting Nigeria to allow Biafran secession is like asking a man to stick his head through a noose and hang.
So far I've seen large crowds at Kanu rallies with colorful flags and attires.
But I've seen precious little by way of military build up or preparations for actual combat.
Isn't it time someone told Kanu to form an army or quit disturbing our peace? [/s]Sense fall on you |
