As a result, some of them have to repeat a grade once again. However, some people think that such thing should not take place. Grade retention is a pretty old-fashioned method of trying to improve the knowledge and skills of students who fail a year. The students are bad at assignment writing, making researches, projects and so on? Some would advise to do it over again! Nevertheless, some school psychologists claim that grade retention induces even more problems. Which one are these? It is quite obvious that grade retention has many drawbacks. Therefore, such method should be excluded out of the educational system throughout the country.
