Well said- alot of considerations need to be made including not appearing too desperate as Trump is also biding his time and knows it. I'm keen to see the endgame of all his interventions on average Americans.

Take housing for example- prices are falling in many parts but I'm yet to see new buyers jubilating and partaking in the 'discount sale'.

Reason I'm quite struck when the advise of some is that Carney should do whatever Trump wants. The wider question here could be - what should Carney do differently that'd bring significant economic change?
Falling house prices aren’t some “discount sale” to celebrate !they’re a direct hit on people’s life savings. For most people in canada and Canadians, their home is the only tangible asset they count on, especially for retirement. A price drop means lost equity, shattered financial security, and wiped-out investments. And don’t fool yourself about buyers rushing in when purchasing power is weak, even cheap homes won’t move. That’s not a healthy market; that’s a broken economy.

I didn't support Carney and didn't vote for him. However, I can't judge any leader on their relations with Trump. Dealing with Trump is like dealing with a werey cos he is a complete werey. Make no mistake, all these framework of a deal which he is calling trade deals are complete nonsense. It takes one 3am tweet to render it useless. It will take one issue not even relating to trade to render it useless.
In fact, most of these framework won't even advance to trade deals at the end. America will get hurt at the end but others will be more hurt cos of their economic size. But of what use is hurting yourself cos your opponents will be hurt times 2?

I will judge Carney based on what he achieves domestically not based on Trump trade deal. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like he has anything to offer on the domestic front. But let me give him more time before I render my judgment
Anyway, I personally prefer any Werey who loves his country and puts it first, compared to your so-called leader who collects taxes and spends them overseas. Instead of taking care of Canadian citizens, ur leaders pokes they nose into everything around the world while driving Canada toward bankruptcy all while pretending to be the world’s charity, a country that sends millions military aid abroad yet doesn’t have a single military hospital grin

I see what you saying
BUT
LGBT and calling yourself cat are two different things
Are you a member of that group? I’m asking because I once attended one of their gatherings out of curiosity. From what I observed, they all seemed to belong to the same community and operated under the same umbrella. To be honest, many of the individuals there appeared to be in genuine need of psychological support. But rather than addressing those needs, it seems society often chooses to overlook the deeper issues treating everything as normal, when in reality, some of these individuals might benefit more from proper mental health care and professional help.

EXACTLY 💯
One can decide to politely decline activities
It's not by force

But when you begin to call it "rubbish" or "mental illness".....
Then the hammer (rightfully) will be slammed on such a person

Freedom and Tolerance goes BOTH WAYS....
If someone starts identifying as a cat, goat, or sheep, and we're still calling that a gender identity rather than considering the possibility of a mental health issue, then we’ve clearly lost the plot.

Respect and freedom are important, but they don’t require us to pretend that everything someone says about themselves is valid or healthy. Tolerance doesn’t mean throwing common sense out the window.

Anybody reading all these will notice you ended up proving my point. That community is always edgy, looking for the faintest of criticism to bring out their "guns" looking to fight. See how you are dashing people who disagree as homophobes left, right and center.

As a Pentecostal Christian, I have critized pastors and the church significantly. I have bashed the state of the church cos of some of the nonsense some pastors are doing. I don't endorse or will never endorse everything happening in Christianity. That means I am "Christainphobic" since I'm also critical of the church.

Anyway I don't care about the homophobic tag one bit. I no send Anybody papa. I will NEVER advocate discrimination against anybody irrespective of who they are but I will never ENDORSE that shit. If that community can't accept that fact, na una sabi afterall I also have the right not to accept something
Bro, just ignore them. It's always the same pattern , you can't express your own opinion without them going on the offensive. Honestly, I'm no longer surprised, especially now that some in the group are identifying as cats or wearing dog collars, claiming to be dogs. When a human being starts identifying as non-binary, a cat, or a dog and when some men start dressing as women just to gain access to female bathrooms what do you expect from such a confused group of people.Let's just drop the topic. Time will tell. In 20 to 30 years, we'll see where all this deception has led humanity, and whether truth or falsehood will prevail!

How about just entering with the right visa in the first place? Tourist visa, visitor visa—same thing.

Even though you have a 10-year visa, you're only allowed to stay for a maximum of 6 months per entry. Anything beyond that on a visitor visa means you've overstayed.

So let’s work with the 6-month limit.

You’ll be looking for admission into a school. The average admission process takes time. Even if you get accepted quickly, you’ve already lost some of that 6-month window.

Applying for a study permit from inside Canada currently takes about 5 weeks, but we all know IRCC can take much longer—let’s say 2 months realistically.

And IRCC isn’t stupid. They can sense when someone’s trying to game the system.

So again, why not just apply for a study visa from the start?
This month, IRCC removed the option to apply for a study permit from within Canada as a visitor. You are now expected to leave Canada to apply. My friend is now stranded in Canada, as he was previously hoping to switch from visitor to student status but that’s no longer possible!

If you want to apply for a study permit, you must

leave the country, and
follow the instructions to apply from outside Canada

from your posts you are planning to come to Canada with visitor visa? Yes you will see shege promax because only a fool will sell his or her properties for a visitors visa/ asylum
My wife was nominated in the November IRCC draw for PR. I am a dependent and will be coming to Canada as a PR once our application is finalized. Our AOR is January 2025. and Getting PR in Canada is no longer difficult, as many people from Nigeria have obtained it recently —even those who initially arrived on a visitor visa. The majority of people I know who came in 2023 are now PR in processing after hearing approved .The asylum process in Canada is also quite very easy if you know your way around it. Am now just worry about the situation in Canada as per job search and the economic generally if it worth just selling off my investment and relocating permanently .

Canada Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly, Public Safety Minister David McGuinty, and Immigration Minister Marc Miller are all in the U.S. capital, making a final diplomatic push, begging Republican lawmakers and Trump’s team to sway the president. Trump has signaled he’s prepared to impose 25% tariffs on Canadian imports as early as Saturday.

Please ,But what happened to a great country like Canada that it seems unable to survive economically without the U.S., despite all the immigrants pouring in yearly? What is happening to Canada's economy that some people are now calling from Canada, asking for money from people in Nigeria? What's going on with the job market in Canada? some of us are still planning to relocate to Canada ,make person no go sell his properties and business and go face Shege pro max in Canada!!!
