I just got a job in Lagos. The employer wants
Lagos residents only, but I applied with the
hope that I will stay with my friend for the
meantime. I attended the interview and was
successful, the employer wants me to resume
immediately, but I couldn't cos no
accommodation and no money to secure one.
i may lose the job if I don't resume by March.
My friend in Lagos stays at mile 2 while I will
be working at Berger. Tfare from mile 2 to
Berger is over 1k daily, hence I can't stay with
him. If I can find someone that can
accommodate me for the meantime and I will be paying him
monthly rent I would appreciate. Ojodu Berger

My advice is to accept the job first and work with the option at mile 2 for the moment. Every other thing will fall into place when you do. Given the current situation in the country, I don’t think it’s wise to keep the employer waiting for you to sort your accommodation issues. That’s not a smart decision. After all, you didn’t wait to get an accommodation before applying for jobs and attending interviews, did you?
