There was chaos in the hostel yesterday night as FUTO Man O war clashed with Eziobodo guys. If you stay in the hostel, and was awake till morning, you would notice that the generator which was meant to be turned off at 12 midnight was left on till exactly 4:00am. This is really what happened as narrated by an eye witness who was nearly shot.

I was in SOSC extension reading when I heard a gunshot. I thought it was this man O war stuff so I decided to calm down and continue my reading. I then heard another shot, this time it was twice and I became worried and decided to pack my books in my bag an go outside to know what was really going on. As I came outside, I saw some Eziobodo guys on six different bikes trooping into the school, some of them were with cutlass and we're screeching it on the road while some others were with guns. I then considered going to the hostel as I thought that the hostel would be a safer place. I have not gone far when I heard a noise behind me telling me to stop and lift up my hands. I obeyed immediately and turned. To my greatest surprise, I saw a gun pointed towards me. The only thing that managed to escape from my mouth was "please don't kill me". He asked me where I was coming from of which I told him, he also asked me what I was doing there at that odd hour (that was around 10:10pm) and I told him that I was reading and am currently going back to the hostel. He then warned me that I should return back to the place I came from immediately if I knew what was better for me. Saying this, he mounted his bike and sped off.

I did not keep to his warning as I still considered that going to the hostel was the best thing to do. I then decided to continue my journey to the hostel. I was not far from the hostel when I decided to take a route where students normally stay and read (CCE BUILDING) but to my greatest surprise not even a single soul was found there as the place was very dark. This got me more worried but seeing that I was no longer far from the hostel, I decided to continue the journey. Just as I was about to jump a gutter near the school park, I saw some people on bike which I suspected to be man O war shouting RUN O! RUN O!! THERE IS WAR OOO!!!. Hearing that, I took to my heels and started running towards no direction. I later found myself behind mechanical engineering department building where I saw another guy who was holding his shoes and was ready for a race. The guy was about to run to the hostel when I stopped him and told him that what was happening there was hotter than fire. We then decided to run towards SEET Complex and on getting there we heard some voices that were shouting "WHO ARE THOSE RUNNING?" Hearing that, we increased our acceleration and ran inside SEET complex where we dispatched. The other guy even threw away his shoes as we competed on who would outrun the other. Ten minutes later, the guy located me and we stayed there and watched as those who were shouting "WHO ARE THOSE RUNNING" went towards Ihiagwa. We then considered going back to the hostel thinking that the place we were (SEET Complex) was not safe.

On our way to the hostel, we heard some people speeding with bikes and screeching cutlasses on the road. We immediately ran back to SEET complex where we stayed till around 4:00am. By that time everything had died down so we quietly returned back to our different hostels and I thank God that I survived the incident.

This times has really gone beyond end times. This may sound unbelievable but it is true. I nearly doubted it when I first saw it not until I watched the video of how this man happily married his iPhone.

The groom who name was given as Aaron Chervenak took to the altar his bride (Apple iPhone) in a local chapel in Las Vegas. According to him, his iPhone was his longtime relationship so he considered marrying it. He said that his iPhone provided him with emotional feelings like making him fall asleep, calming him down and resting his mind.

It has been revealed that Larry Page has been secretly funding two flying-car companies, going by confirmations from two people who are very close with the firms.

It was also revealed that Larry is the CEO of Zee.Aero Inc., some of whose employees are running inti 150 hold test on prototype aircraft in rural California, as well as a smaller startup tagged Kitty Hawk which is ambitiously bent on realizing its own design for a flying car.

According to Bloomberg, Larry Page has spent over $100m funding these two start-ups as he hopes to realize his unique dream of a flying car.

The firms comprise of a dozen companies which have their brains working on so-called flying cars. These flying cars would have the capacity of small automated aircraft which can take off as well as land vertically.

The aircraft are generally being with the futuristic purpose of conveying people over short distances as a component of on-demand transportation service.

I logged into my face book account this afternoon and saw this Facebook Free Data. I hope most of you have seen it unless you have not visited your Facebook account using your Facebook app today.

From what I have gathered, this Facebook Free Data is all about using Facebook for free. Cool right?

Tips On How To Make A Good Industrial Training


1. Respect

This is one of the most important aspect of all. During your IT program, make sure you respect everyone be it the one whom you consider less important because you might not know how important that person may be. Of course you know am not meant to remind you that you must equally respect yourself.

2. Always Be Early To Work

Let me start by warning those who go for lectures Late. If you are among this set of people, Please and please, don't do it during your IT. Don't dare show them your real self instead, pretend and make sure you always go to work early. Going to work late is so dangerous as it can cost you your IT placement. So Beware!!!

3. Dress Properly

Some organizations wear different wears to work during different days of the week. Some put on suit on Monday - Thursday and Native or T-shirt and Jeans on Friday. I will advice you to dress as if you are a permanent staff in that organization and make sure you dress decent.

Don't dress properly only at your place of work. Also extend it to your house especially when you are outside the compound. You might think; "I am no longer in my place of work so let me dress anyhow I like". Well, it's good to have such a thought but take for instance, if you are walking down the street dressed in a bum shot (for ladies) and unfortunately you run into your employer. Inside you, you might think that you are Sexy to him :Dbut he would be thinking that you are irresponsible and only a pretender who dresses well only to work . So Better be careful.

4. Address Everyone With His/Her Title

It is common for some people to address their employers as Orgar or Madam. This, they do thinking that the are impressing their employers. But it is totally on the contrary because you are not impressing them at all. They would only take you as one who is not fully educated. So better behave and call every one with his/her title such as Engr. Patrick, Mr. Benson, Dr. Judith and so on. This would make them know that you are truly educated and Matured. Got it right? So let's continue..

5. Be Sincere

For you to be trusted though maybe not fully because it's hard to trust one who would only work with a company for a short while, you have to be very sincere with everything you do at your work place. Let's use this as an example. Some organizations do have a book where workers write down their name and the time they come for work. It will be very good of you if you write the actual time you come for work. Take for instance, you come to work at 8:30am and write down that it is 8:00am but unfortunately for you, the next person to write his name is your Boss. Take a little bit of your time to think of what would happen next. Got it? Cool!!

The Niger Delta Avengers is at their peak again as they blow up trunk lines belonging to Agip and Shell.

The new group of militants attacked Agip and Shell in the wee hours today, Saturday,May 28, 2016, blew up trunk lines belonging to the Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC) and Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) in Bayelsa State.

Vanguard has it that the group in a tweet revealed that its strike teams, in the early hours of today blew up trunk lines belonging to NAOC and SPDC.

“At About 2.15am on Saturday the @Niger Delta Avengers blow up Nembe 1, 2 and 3 Brass to Bonny Trunk Line belonging to Agip and Shell,” the NDA stated in a tweet.

The Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) has also threatened to do something that will shock the whole world if the Federal Government do not grant their demand.

In a series of tweets, the militants revealed that they blew up another oil pipeline belonging to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) on Thursday, May 26, which they claimed was heavily guarded by the Nigerian military. That same day, some facilities belonging to Chevron was also blown up.

The group also blasted the Niger Delta stakeholders over the meetings they held in the region, stating that they want a sovereign state and not pipeline contracts.

In a related development, soldiers invaded Oporoza, the traditional headquarters of Gbaramatu kingdom, at about 1.52 am, this morning and were still laying siege to the community as at 8am.

The soldiers, who came in no fewer than seven gunboats, allegedly beat up residents, including an octogenarian community leader, Chief Atiti Mala, with the butt of a gun.

“They were asking the helpless villagers to produce former militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, and members of the Niger Delta Avengers,” a youth leader told the newspaper on phone.

Ijaw leader, Chief Godspower Gbenekama, who confirmed the attack on Oporoza, said: “Information available to me is that the military invaded Oporoza again in the early hours of today. As I am speaking to you, but they are still there molesting people.”

“They have arrested many persons and villagers have fled into the bush. This is wrong, they are going to worsen issues with what they are doing. I posted on Facebook that they invaded Oporoza and a military man called me to tell me that they would deal with me.

“We are not safe, we have said it over and over that Gbaramatu people are not synonymous with Niger Delta Avengers, they should leave my people along. If they want to kill me, let them go ahead, but I will continue to say the truth, why are they harassing my people, they should harass the militants whose activities we condemn,” he added.
