markemordi: u say lie,eg a friend of mine wrote uniben putme and waz going for mechanical engineering wen he checked jamb website he waz given structural enginerring which uniben dont not study,dere is a mistake somewhere.If am lieing why is it only 3 people dat wrote d whole fupre postume saw admission status in jamb website without fupre bringout putme result.see i advise u to chill because fupree has d right to withdraw ur admission if u dont pass dere putme cutoff mark

Osumare2013: FUNAAB ICTREC can't correct a mistake on Jamb website. They have no authority to do that. It can only be done by a Jamb official.

If you go for an affidavit, of what use will it be? Who are you gonna present it to and when?
If that error is gonna affect ur admission, u won't know until the admission list is released.

Brother, there's nothing u can do abt dat error. Just pray it doesn't count.

Osumare2013: You shld hav gone to Jamb office to rectify it na. Now it can no longer be corrected.
Just pray there's no adverse effect. Lotta pple usually escape it. But things might hav changed.

Osumare2013: They will. This is because as a Federal institution, there must be equity. Hence, each local govt/state in Nigeria is alloted some admission spaces each depending on the number of qualifed candidates from each region. For example, Lagos may be alloted 500 spaces, while Ogun 350 spaces and so on. Filling a wrong state of Origin will jeopardise that.

Well, we're in Nigeria. If you mistakenly filled Oyo instead of Ogun...pray you made the same mistake in JAMB and while registering for your O' level, be it WAEC or NECO. Also, find a means to get a certificate of Origin from that state. You've automatically ported with that.

But if the state of origin in Jamb/O' Level doesn't tally with the one you filled during post utme, you're in trouble. Pray.
