Stanford Professor Jay Bhattacharya visited Twitter HQ to find out why Twitter 1.0 acted so 'imperiously' and placed him on a blacklist.

Twitter CEO Elon Musk invited a Stanford professor to the social media giant's headquarters on Saturday to begin looking at why the old regime acted so "imperiously" and placed the epidemiologist on a blacklist for arguing Covid lockdowns would harm children.

Stanford University professor of medicine, Dr. Jay Bhattacharya was one of many on the platform’s "blacklist," according to the second installment of the Twitter Files, which was released on Dec. 8 by The Free Press reporter Bari Weiss.

On Sunday, Bhattacharya tweeted that he spent Saturday at Twitter headquarters after receiving an invite from Musk.

Bhattacharya explained that this was an opportunity to find out more about the blacklist he was placed on,

"Twitter 1.0 placed me on the blacklist on the first day I joined in August 2021," the professor tweeted. "I think it was my pinned tweet linking to the @gbdeclaration that triggered the blacklist based on unspecified complaints Twitter received."

The @gbdeclaration refers to the Great Barrington Declaration, which according to the declaration’s website, was written from a global public health and humanitarian perspective with special concerns about how the current Covid-19 strategies were forcing children, the working class, and poor to carry the heaviest burden.

The declaration was written by Bhattacharya, Sunetra Gupta and Martin Kulldorff and signed on Oct. 4, 2021. It was released to the public the next day.

Bhattacharya said he and Kulldorff sought verification from Twitter 1.0, but they were rejected because they were not notable enough.

"They should have asked Francis Collins – he would have vouched for our standing as ‘fringe epidemiologists,'" Bhattacharya said. "It will take some time to find out more about what led Twitter 1.0 to act so imperiously, but I am grateful to @elonmusk, who has promised to help find out. I will report the results on Twitter 2.0, where transparency and free speech rule."

The election tribunal for the 2018 Osun governorship election didn't rule on Adeleke's certificate idiot. The Osun governorship election was conducted in 2018. Adeleke dragged INec/APC/Oyetola to the election tribunal and showed evidence that he truly won the election and that inec shouldn't have declared the election inconclusive. The election tribunal gave judgement in 2019 and declared Adeleke the winner of that election. It was when Oyetola went to the appeal court to appeal the judgement of the tribunal that he won at the appeal court and he remained governor.

The 2018 Osun election petition tribunal didn't rule on whether Adeleke's certificate was forged or not. They only ruled on who won the election and who lost.

They said it will help their case. The judge agreed to their request. The judge ordered inec to produce the documents so that Apc and oyetola will not cry foul that the judge didn't allow them to have access to documents that will help their case. The day INEC submitted Adeleke's certificates in court, the lawyer to APC and Oyetola confirmed that the documents are okay and the court admitted the documents as evidence and that was the day Oyetola's lawyer closed his case. .

So, why are you wailing that the certificates were forged? Even the supreme court agreed with the court of appeal that Adeleke's certificates were not forged. Or you are not aware that the case got to the supreme court? So, it is an election petition tribunal that will now say Adeleke's certificates were forged after an Appeals court and supreme court judgements have said the documents were not forged? 2. An election petition tribunal is a court set up to look at how an election was conducted. An election petition tribunal doesn't concern itself with whether a candidate was qualified to contest an election or not. Those are pre-election matters. What the Osun petition tribunal will do is to determine whether Adeleke truly won the election or if the election was rigged. If you are waiting for the tribunal to rule that Adeleke has forged certificate and so shouldn't have contested the election, then you are a big fool!

An election period tribunal concerns itself with only how an election was conducted (starting from accreditation to when the results of that election is announced). Anything outside election matters, an election petition tribunal can't rule on it.
