I heard that Canada consulars request for documents and do verification. If I maintain the incorrect information, I won't be able to back it up with my credentials if they eventually request for it.
So what do you think?

Please I need your candid advice.
I was recently refused a usa visit visa in March. Before the application, my agent made some adjustments to my information like backdating my school history, backdating my employment history, filling my marital status as married while I'm single, and some other personal information changes. I was still refused anyway.
This time around, I got an invitation to my church conference in Canada and I'll have to apply for a visit visa.
I'll be doing the application myself and filling all details correctly.
My question is, will the USA visa refusal and wrong details affect my Canada visa outcome?
