Oyebade Adebimpe is an up-and-coming actress and a professional model who is gradually shooting into limelight. In this interview with Ghaniyah Olowoyo, she revealed how lucrative her modelling work is.

How did the idea of acting begin for you?

I got in through auditioning. I was serving then. I was a model at that time, I started modelling from school. After school I became a professional model, a full time one.

So I saw this broadcast message requesting for an auditioning and that the producer would even prefer the role to be played by a model, a dark one; the description, everything just fitted me.

So I thought I’d give it a trial. When they said I should come, I was in Benin, I was still serving so there was no time. I later got a message that we could do a video and send it across via email.

So gaining admission into school at 23 wasn't an easy feat at all. Been out of Secondary school since I was 18 but was just never "inspired" to want to go school.

Russian investigators have launched an investigation into the death of 32-year-old Nigerian man identified as Gabriel Segun Ajayi who reportedly died of heart attack in a club


The 32-year-old Nigerian man who is married to a 50-year-old Russian woman, died of a massive heart attack at a dance club last Friday night, October 12, in the city of Cherepovets, about 500 km north of Moscow, and according to investigators, the cause of death would be determined after a forensic examination.

While the Nigerian embassy in Moscow has raised an alarm over the death of the Nigerian national, it was gathered that the couple captured the attention of Russian daytime talk shows with their romance, due both to the 18 year age difference between them and the unusual story of a reported Nigerian prince agreeing to move to rural Russia to be with his wife.
