Properties / Re: Peak Park,lekki. Its Mouth Watering! by Miders(m): 1:31pm On Jan 03, 2009
EHL, please answer the following important questions.
1. Is Peak Park estate on the main road like Fara Park and how many min drive is it from Fara park?
2. What is the plot size, 600m2 or 900m2?
3. When will the infrastructure be delivered, i mean the road, drainage, cctv, perimeter fence e.t.c?
4. How soon can one start development?

Am sure the answers to these questions will help a lot of prospective buyers make up their minds. smiley

Hi! Can one do something like this around unilag? Becos the problem i foresee with unilag area is availability of land, most of the land you will get will be far away from the school (maybe 15 - 20mins drive) and am not sure the students will like to live too far away. Do you have an idea of the amount one can get for it rent there?

texazzpete,
I installed the wiki2touch but have issues downloading the 2.9GB english binary database file. It loses connection with the server after downloading for a long time despite the fact that i use a broadband connection. Is there an easier/faster way to download a file that large. Or could you send me a zipped copy? Thanks.

You guys kinda got me interested in the tech phones with all the topics about functionalities. So I got someone to buy and send me a Blackberry Curve 8320 and the 16GB iPhone to choose one from. They are both beautifull work of art and technology, but I fell in love with the iPhone after having a go at it. So am giving up the Blackberry for sale at a very attractive price. Anybody interested should give me a call on 07027961091.

For all those interested in PP, I got some authentic info about a new PP going on by a company called Nadina industries Ltd. I never heard of them but apparently they are in the Printing & Publishing sector and according to their prospectus claim to be the biggest in that industry. 1billion ordinary shares of N1 each @ N1.95k per share. It closes tomorrow. Has anyone else heard about this?

Udo01:

Minders,
For that amount of money, stay with fundamentals; In the banking sector, consider;
UBA
Skye Bank
Oceanic
Zenith

You should target to go in before the next quarterly results are out by mid April. Cheers.
Thanks Udo01, i actually intend to stick with fundamentals too. I agree with your choice of stocks but i hope going in around April would still be good enough to make reasonable returns from them?
BTW am thinking of Flourmills, FCMB, Dansugar, UAC, Presco, NB, Access and PZ as well. What do you think?

goldenson:

@ Miders

i can suggest buying only fundamelly sound stocks like

GTB - Considering result is round the corner and i wont get the money untill 2wks, would it not be too late to board the train?
Diamond - Any reason why this will give me 50% in 1 year?
Oando - the price looks scary now, has the train not left the station already?
Unic - Am not too sure about insurance coy and am afraid 1 year is too short to risk going in there
Lasaco - same reason as above

@goldenson
thanks for your response, see my reservations above.

Deja Vu again did you read WASKY-WAJA's threads here from your 500+ pages browse

I did but am considering the fact that am going to get the money in 2 weeks time and a lot of things have happened since WASKY-WAJA got the money so prices and attractive stocks choice might be different now as well.

@wanajo, aktopgun, pumping777, easimoni, windywendy, fo2, yodiyokun, ololufemi, Napoleon,
I need your highly respected comment, opinion or advice. Am about to be given a loan of N40million naira at 21% interest (all charges inclusive) for 1 year to purchase shares. I know its really not a good idea to borrow to trade but then i have this strong feeling that i will be able to make at least 50% in 1 year at the current trend in the NSE. Am thinking of buying only 10 stocks but because i need to make the right selections, i will need all the contributions i can get. All the gurus in the house please feel free to make suggestions, recommendations or even shine candles sef, i know the final decision lies with me. wink
