Change a zero in your passport number to O and you will have yourself a new application booking chance.

It's just for booking purposes, it doesn't in any way determine what is reflected on your certificate cos you will fill it in over again when u get there

if you are not very comfortable doing it yourself, use an agent but be sure you know everything they're putting in cos I've seen agents mess up people's applications. Otherwise its not a big deal

Put as many details as you can in the application.

Things such as the mum's ties to Nigeria ( house etc),

what she does - If she's a business woman, add her account statements and company reg.
If she retired; add her pension statements and back up with a bank account.

you need to show funds in your account to prove you will be funding the trip and her stay (if you will be doing so )

Show you live in a decent apartment and it will be conducive for her to stay and not be considered as overcrowding

Write a cover letter explaining the relationship and what she is coming to do in the UK. As long as its straightforward and convincing, she will get her visa.

I don't think the date of the marriage actually matters.

I have had a few guys return to marry their babes after coming to the UK and all got to process their Visas immediately after the wedding to join them. Having extra evidence uploaded would be a good idea, but I don't think there is anything wrong with the marriage being too close to travel. If you are so scared, apply for the student first and then immediately apply for the partner once the first visa is issued.

My friend is in a dilemma.
He's been dating a girl for over 3 years now and she has decided to travel abroad for her master's. He's footing about 70% of the bills so they decided to do a court marriage last month so they can move together and start visa application by July as she's already gotten admission.
Now the issue is someone advised them that their marriage date is too close to the visa application date and that it might raise red flags as the marriage might be viewed as a sham marriage (even though it isn't).
They were advised to defer the admission and not apply now. Now he's scared of applying as he doesn't want to risk a rejection.
Please what's your advice and does he really stand a huge risk of rejection?

Speak to your account officer or the person in the bank ure applying.

in some cases, they just ignore what you have entered and give you the maximum they allow. But its better you speak to someone from the bank to give you the maximum amount and other details for the application.

Apply to other schools and work on some shortfalls you might think you had in the previous application. UK admission is free!

Please house, this what I received following my application to.one of the schools (Anglia Ruskin University) on my list.
I studied Accounting in school and I have both a HND, PGDM and MBA Financial Management.
What could be responsible for this rejection?
What can I do differently?
Can I possibly apply for another course in same institution?
I still have others that I'm awaiting their feedback, should I apply for other courses?

There are many factors involved here, but like I tell people, you are not going to be there when a decision is being made on your application
So, simply put tidy up any loose end you might think of.

Firstly, ur account balance with the POF for the kids is sufficient (they rarely refuse children visa especially when both parents are in the UK already) . Think about this If you have an outstanding school fee balance, it could be in ur UK bank account (only that you are not required to provide that except you wish to).

So if you feel some type of way, just fund your UK account with the school fee balance, or add the naira equivalent to any of your local accounts incase they ask, you can show them that statement.

If you have got only 1,700 outstanding then it seem like uve been around for a while and have proven you have been taking care of your self. a friend applied only after 7 months with an outstanding 6,000 school fee balance and only showed the required POF for the kids and they were granted. Dont over think it, u will be alright

I have their pof in my account which is the same account i used for mine (and hubby) last year, but not the same funds. Obviously, we are not recycling funds. Please, do you thing its necessary attaching my tuition invoice from my school as an evidence while uploading their application. I am really worried cos i am still oweing school fees (1700pounds) and i dont want to show that. But what do you think? What can you advice.






When you say "another" proof of fund, what do you mean?
Normally, you show your own tuition balance + your monthly maintainance * 9 months and your dependants' monthly maintenance * 9 months if you apply together.
If they apply shortly after you get your own visa, they only need their own (dependants') POF but the ECO might ask for evidence of your own funds and evidence that it went towards your tuition and maintainance in the UK, in addition to your dependants' maintainance if it is suspected that the funds are recycled.
