Christianity EtcMighty Kabex_____ Who Was The Prophecised Prophet? by MightyKabex(op): 11:43pm On Sep 30, 2015
Mighty Kabex_____

Assallam aleykum warahmotullah______

Let us ask ourselves....Who is the prophesied prophet?

The bible says:
"I will raise them up a Prophet from among
their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my
words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto
them all that I shall command him." --
Deuteronomy 18:18

Let's see if is Jesus:_

For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A
prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto
you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall
ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say
unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every
soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be
destroyed from among the people. Yea, and all
the prophets from Samuel and those that
follow after, as many as have spoken, have
likewise foretold of these days. -- Acts 3:22-24

So,it is our noble prophet Muhammad!

The prophet described in the above verse must
have the following three characteristics:
1. He will be like Moses.
2. He will come from the brothers of the
Israelites, i.e. the Ishmaelites.
3. God will put his words in the mouth of the
prophet and he will declare what God
commanded him.
Let us see which prophet God was speaking of.
1. The prophet like Moses
Some people feel that this prophecy refers to
the prophet Jesus, on whom be peace. But,
although Jesus (peace be upon him and all of
God's prophets and messengers) was truly a
prophet of God, he is not the prophet spoken
of here. He was born miraculously, and finally
God raised him up miraculously. On the other
hand, Muhammad is more like Moses; both
were born in a natural way and both died
natural deaths.
2. From among the Ishmaelite
Abraham had two sons, Ishmael and Isaac
(Genesis, chapter 21). Ishmael became the
grandfather of the Arab nation. And Isaac
became the grandfather of Jewish nation. The
prophet spoken of was to come not from
among the Jews themselves, but from among
their brothers, the Ishmaelite. Muhammad a
descendant of Ishmael, is indeed that prophet.
3. God will put his words in his mouth
Neither the content of the revelation, nor its
form, were of Muhammad's devising. Both
were given by the angel, and Muhammad's task
was only to repeat what he heard" (World
Religions from Ancient history to the Present,
by Geoffrey Parrinder, p.472).
God sent the angel Gabriel to teach
Muhammad the exact words that he should
repeat to the people. The words are therefore
not his own; they did not come from his own
thoughts, but were put into his mouth by the
angel. These are written down in the Qur'an
word for word, exactly as they came from God.
Now that we know that prophet we must listen
to him, for, according to the Bible, God says: 'I
will punish anyone who refuses to obey
him' (Good News Bible, Deut. 18:19) so..it is very clear and obvious that prophet Muhammad is that prophet and we all should follow and obey his doctrines..

Assallam aleykum warahmotullah..._

Except for murder, slavery has got to be
one of the most immoral things a person can
do. Yet slavery is rampant throughout the
Bible in both the Old and New Testaments.
The Bible clearly approves of slavery in
many passages, and it goes so far as to tell
how to obtain slaves, how hard you can beat
them, and when you can have sex with the
female slaves.
Many Jews and Christians will try to
ignore the moral problems of slavery by
saying that these slaves were actually
servants or indentured servants. Many
translations of the Bible use the word
"servant", "bondservant", or "manservant"
instead of "slave" to make the Bible seem
less immoral than it really is. While many
slaves may have worked as household
servants, that doesn't mean that they were
not slaves who were bought, sold, and
treated worse than livestock.
The following passage shows that slaves
are clearly property to be bought and sold
like livestock.
However, you may purchase male or
female slaves from among the foreigners
who live among you. You may also purchase
the children of such resident foreigners,
including those who have been born in your
land. You may treat them as your property,
passing them on to your children as a
permanent inheritance. You may treat your
slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your
relatives, must never be treated this way.
(Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT)
The following passage describes how the
Hebrew slaves are to be treated.
If you buy a Hebrew slave, he is to serve
for only six years. Set him free in the
seventh year, and he will owe you nothing for
his freedom. If he was single when he
became your slave and then married
afterward, only he will go free in the seventh
year. But if he was married before he
became a slave, then his wife will be freed
with him. If his master gave him a wife while
he was a slave, and they had sons or
daughters, then the man will be free in the
seventh year, but his wife and children will
still belong to his master. But the slave may
plainly declare, 'I love my master, my wife,
and my children. I would rather not go free.'
If he does this, his master must present him
before God. Then his master must take him
to the door and publicly pierce his ear with an
awl. After that, the slave will belong to his
master forever. (Exodus 21:2-6 NLT)
Notice how they can get a male Hebrew
slave to become a permanent slave by
keeping his wife and children hostage until
he says he wants to become a permanent
slave. What kind of family values are these?
The following passage describes the
sickening practice of sex slavery. How can
anyone think it is moral to sell your own
daughter as a sex slave?
When a man sells his daughter as a slave,
she will not be freed at the end of six years as
the men are. If she does not please the man
who bought her, he may allow her to be
bought back again. But he is not allowed to
sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who
broke the contract with her. And if the slave
girl's owner arranges for her to marry his
son, he may no longer treat her as a slave
girl, but he must treat her as his daughter. If
he himself marries her and then takes
another wife, he may not reduce her food or
clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife.
If he fails in any of these three ways, she
may leave as a free woman without making
any payment. (Exodus 21:7-11 NLT)
So these are the Bible family values! A
man can buy as many sex slaves as he wants
as long as he feeds them, clothes them, and
screws them!
What does the Bible say about beating
slaves? It says you can beat both male and
female slaves with a rod so hard that as long
as they don't die right away you are cleared
of any wrong doing.
When a man strikes his male or female
slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies
under his hand, he shall be punished. If,
however, the slave survives for a day or two,
he is not to be punished, since the slave is his
own property. (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB)
You would think that Jesus and the New
Testament would have a different view of
slavery, but slavery is still approved of in the
New Testament, as the following passages
show.
Slaves, obey your earthly masters with
deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely
as you would serve Christ. (Ephesians 6:5
NLT)
Christians who are slaves should give their
masters full respect so that the name of God
and his teaching will not be shamed. If your
master is a Christian, that is no excuse for
being disrespectful. You should work all the
harder because you are helping another
believer by your efforts. Teach these truths,
Timothy, and encourage everyone to obey
them. (1 Timothy 6:1-2 NLT)
In the following parable, Jesus clearly
approves of beating slaves even if they
didn't know they were doing anything
wrong.
The servant will be severely punished, for
though he knew his duty, he refused to do it.
"But people who are not aware that they are
doing wrong will be punished only lightly.
Much is required from those to whom much
is given, and much more is required from
those to whom much more is given." (Luke
12:47-48 NLT)

Christianity EtcMighty Kabex__ The Biblical God Is A Deceiver by MightyKabex(op): 8:42pm On Sep 29, 2015
Assallam aleykum warahmotullah wabarakatuh...

People might start saying Mighty Kabex is an anti-christ or satanic.. judge me as you wish but don't forget what matthew 7:1 says.. I will never stop exposing the truth. I just joined nairaland and I hope to make a clear-cut credence and show your the bitter truth about the bible and christianity.

What I shall treat now..is to show you that The Biblical God is a deceiver __

Let us begin_

You won't hear enough of Christian
missionaries arguing that the Qur'an describes
Allah as plotting and deceiving (refer here).
So I think it is only fair if we return them the
favor and show how the God of the Bible is a
deceiver, thus by the Christian missionary
criteria the Biblical God is an immoral God and
should not be worshipped.
We read in...
Jeremiah 4:10
Then I said, "Ah, Sovereign LORD, how
completely you have deceived (nasha) this
people and Jerusalem by saying, 'You will have
peace,' when the sword is at our throats."
The word for deceived here is nasha, which
means...
1) to beguile, deceive
a) (Niphal) to be beguiled
b) (Hiphil) to beguile, deceive
c) (Qal) utterly (infinitive)
Source: http://www.blueletterbible.org/tmp_
dir/words/5/1144094423-2544.html
John Gill states in his commentary...
surely thou hast greatly deceived this people
and Jerusalem:
what the false prophets did, that God is said
to do, because he suffered them to deceive
the people; (John Gill, The New John Gill
Exposition of the Entire Bible, Commentary
on Jeremiah 4:10, Source)
The New Bible commentary states...
Jeremiah is not indifferent to the message,
which he is called to preach. In v 10 a note is
struck to which he will return in relation to
himself (15:18). In his distress he accuses the
Lord of having deceived the people,
presumably by having allowed false prophets to
convince them with a message of peace (cf.
6:13-14). The only reply is the Lord's own
confirmation that judgment is sure. (New Bible
Commentary)
Even though it was really the false prophets
who did the act of deception, the Bible is
actually shifting the blame to God for actually
allowing the false prophets to do the
deception. This is what the "inspired" author
Jeremiah said and this is what we got to accept.
God deceived innocent people.
It seemed that people were so bothered with
Jeremiah's ascription of deception to God that
they had to reword the sentence so that
deception is ascribed to the false prophets
instead.
Ah, Lord God! surely thou hast greatly
deceived this people
The Targum paraphrases this verse thus: "And I
said, Receive my supplication, O Lord God; for,
behold, the false prophets deceive this people
and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Ye
shall have peace." The prophet could not
reconcile this devastation of the country with
the promises already made; and he appears to
ask the question, Hast thou not then deceived
this people in saying there shall be peace, i.e.,
prosperity? (Adam Clarke, The Adam Clarke
Commentary, Commentary on Jeremiah
4:10, Source)
We have it in...
1 Kings 22:20-22
20 And the LORD said, 'Who will entice Ahab
into attacking Ramoth Gilead and going to his
death there?'
"One suggested this, and another that. 21
Finally, a spirit came forward, stood before the
LORD and said, 'I will entice him.'
22 " 'By what means?' the LORD asked.
" 'I will go out and be a lying spirit in the
mouths of all his prophets,' he said.
" 'You will succeed in enticing him,' said the
LORD. 'Go and do it.'
Here we see that the man said that he would
resort to lying in order to entice Ahab and God
supported the idea and told him to go ahead
and do it!
I personally have no moral objections to this
since I believe God could at times use means
of deception in order to ensure the greater
good and to use deception against evil.
However, Christians don't allow this when we
talk about Allah deceiving evildoers in the
Qur'an. These are double standards.
We even have it in...
Ezekiel 14:9-11
9 " 'And if the prophet is enticed to utter a
prophecy, I the LORD have enticed that
prophet, and I will stretch out my hand against
him and destroy him from among my people
Israel. 10 They will bear their guilt-the prophet
will be as guilty as the one who consults him.
11 Then the people of Israel will no longer
stray from me, nor will they defile themselves
anymore with all their sins. They will be my
people, and I will be their God, declares the
Sovereign LORD.' "
God is punishing him for a crime that He
enticed him to do in the first place? Isn't that
entrapment?
Another passage...
Isaiah 37:6-7
Isaiah said to them, "Tell your master, 'This is
what the LORD says: Do not be afraid of what
you have heard-those words with which the
underlings of the king of Assyria have
blasphemed me. Listen! I am going to put a
spirit in him so that when he hears a certain
report, he will return to his own country, and
there I will have him cut down with the sword.'
"
God had that spirit spread a rumor so that the
King of Assyria can to return to his homeland.
In short, that spirit's purpose was for
deception.
Another example from the Bible...
Isaiah 19:14
The LORD has poured into them a spirit of
dizziness; they make Egypt stagger in all that
she does, as a drunkard staggers around in his
vomit.
Here we see God deceiving people to the
extent that they become absolutely foolish.
Even though I don't believe the Gospels teach
that Jesus taught he was God, however this
example is for those who believe that Jesus is
God. Jesus admits that he was speaking
figuratively all this time...
John 16:25
25"Though I have been speaking figuratively
(paroimia), a time is coming when I will no
longer use this kind of language but will tell
you plainly about my Father.
The word paroimia could mean...
1) a saying out of the usual course or deviating
from the usual manner of speaking
a) a current or trite saying, a proverb
2) any dark saying which shadows forth some
didactic truth
a) esp. a symbolic or figurative saying
b) speech or discourse in which a thing is
illustrated by the use of similes and
comparisons
c) an allegory
1) extended and elaborate metaphor
Source: http://www.blueletterbible.org/tmp_
dir/words/3/1146511128-5176.html
Why wasn't Jesus speaking in a normal and
clear way all the time? Why did Jesus then go
and say that he won't 'use this kind of
language'?
Well, here we find out why...
Mark 4:10-12
10When he was alone, the Twelve and the
others around him asked him about the
parables. 11He told them, "The secret of the
kingdom of God has been given to you. But to
those on the outside everything is said in
parables 12so that," 'they may be ever
seeing but never perceiving, and ever
hearing but never understanding; otherwise
they might turn and be forgiven!'
So here we see that Jesus was deceiving certain
people by speaking in parables so that they
won't (and God forbid!) REPENT AND BE
FORGIVEN!
Also in...
2 Thessalonians 2:11
11For this reason God sends them a powerful
delusion so that they will believe the lie
So God will delude people so that they can
believe lies?
Now Christians would argue back and ask us
Muslims to understand the context and reasons
why God did such a thing. However, when we
tell Christians to do the same thing when it
comes to analyzing certain Qur'anic verses they
don't want to do it. So why should us Muslims?

Sura An-Naml (27:61)

Is not He (better than your gods) Who has made the earth as a fixed abode, and has placed rivers in its midst, and has placed firm mountains therein, and has set a barrier between the two seas (of salt and sweet water). Is there any ilâh (god) with Allâh? Nay, but most of them know not.

Sura Al-Kahf (18:86)

Until, when he reached the setting place of the sun, he found it setting in a spring of black muddy (or hot) water. And he found near it a people. We (Allâh) said (by inspiration): "O Dhul-Qarnain! Either you punish them, or treat them with kindness."

Sura Al-Kahf (18:90)

Until, when he came to the rising place of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We (Allâh) had provided no shelter against the sun.

Sura Yasin (36:38)

And the sun runs on its fixed course for a term (appointed). That is the Decree of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing.

Sura Yasin (36:40)

It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. They all float, each in an orbit.

All these verses support a Flat earth model that the Quran is describing

From Surah 36:38-40 it also becomes obvious that the Quran regards the position of the Earth as fixed, whilst sun and moon are circulating around it. This is nothing else but the geocentric view of ancient scholars. So how come that the almighty Allah, the one who created the entire world did not know that the sun (which, according to the quran, was created by Allah himself!) is in the center with all the planets running around it?
Here I shall present a refutation of the verse you posted about Dhul qarnain's sun setting in a murdy spring..

Although we keep answering accusations of
Christian missionaries against our religion
and Scripture, they vehemently keep
parroting them again and again as if we
have not answered them already!! Jesus is
reported to have said,
"Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with
what judgment ye judge, ye shall be
judged: and with what measure ye mete, it
shall be measured to you again. And why
beholdest thou the mote that is in thy
brother's eye, but considerest not the
beam that is in thine own eye?"
(Matthew 7:1-3)
We will show here that what is in their eye
is not just a beam, but a big wedge! Well,
among the issues whom Christian
missionaries use to object against the Holy
Qur'an is the following passage,
"They ask thee concerning Zul-Qarnain.
Say, I will rehearse to you something of
his story. Verily we established his power
on earth, and we gave him the ways and
the means to all ends. One (such) way he
followed. Until, when he reached the
setting of the sun, he found it set in a
spring of murky water: near it he found a
people." (Holy Qur'an 18:83-86)
Their objection is that how sun could set in a
spring of murky water while it is over billion
times greater than earth and can never set
in a spring of a murky water! They
persistently confront us with this objection
in all their arguments concerning scientific
aspects of the Qur'an.
Well, we are going, insha'Allah, to answer
them. I begin and quote the following
biblical verse,
"Are they not on the other side Jordan, by
the way where the sun goeth down, in the
land of the Canaanites, which dwell in the
champaign over against Gilgal, beside the
plains of Moreh?"
(Deuteronomy 11:30)
As we all know there is no way where the
sun goes down because the sun is over
billion times greater than earth . etc.. while
if the meaning is that it is the way where it
appears to people that sun goes down in, the
objection will be solved. But certainly they
accept such explanations for their Scripture,
not for ours! Moreover, the verse is very
clumsy as one of our Arab brothers notes ,
The text as you see is extremely clumsy as if
he describes the address for a lost person:
Where-the-sun-goeth-down St., Canaanites'
City, leave the first plain of Moreh, right
against Gilgal!
Let's move on to another verse,
"The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor
the moon by night."
(Psalms 121:6)
We quite understand what is meant by the
sun smiting someone, but what is meant by
moon smiting?! Is there anything known -
for example - as moon stroke?! Perhaps we
should know!
Our last biblical quotation is this,
"And there appeared a great wonder in
heaven; a woman clothed with the sun,
and the moon under her feet, and upon
her head a crown of twelve
stars." (Revelation 12:1)
How can a woman be clothed with the sun
which is over billion times greater than
earth?!! This is indeed mythical!
Now, we leave the Bible to discuss the
objection of the missionaries. The verse says,
"he found it set in a spring of murky
water" i.e., according to his vision and sight
that's why Allah does not say "it is setting".
Imam Al-Baidawi notes,
He probably reached shore of the ocean and
saw it like that because there was but water
at the furthest of his sight that's why He says
"he found it set" and does not say "it sets".
(Al-Baidawi, Anwar-ut-Tanzil wa Asrar-ut-
Taw'il, Volume 3, page 394. Published by
Dar-ul-Ashraf, Cairo, Egypt)
Imam Al-Qurtubi states,
Al-Qaffal said: It is not meant by reaching
the rising or setting of the sun that he
reached its body and touched it because it
runs in the sky around the earth without
touching it and it is too great to enter any
spring on earth. It is so much larger than
earth. But it is meant that he reached the
end of populated land east and west, so he
found it - according to his vision - setting in a
spring of a murky water like we watch it in
smooth land as if it enters inside the land.
That is why He said, "he found it rising on a
people for whom we had provided no
covering protection against the
sun." (Holy Qur'ân 18:90) and did not mean
that it touches or adheres to them; but they
are the first to rise on.
Al-Qutabiy said: Probably this spring is a
part of the sea and the sun sets behind, with
or at it, so the proposition takes the place of
an adjective and Allah knows best. (Al-
Qurtubi, Al-Game' le Ahkam-el-Qur'an,
Volume 16, page 47. Published by Dar-ul-
Hadith, Cairo, Egypt. ISBN 977-5227-44-5)
Imam Fakhr-ud-Deen Ar-Razi states,
When Zul-Qarnain reached the furthest west
and no populated land was left, he found
the sun as if it sets in a dark spring, but it is
not in reality. The same when sea traveler
sees the sun as if it sets in the sea if he
cannot see the shore while in reality it sets
behind the sea. (Ar-Razi, At-Tafsir-ul-
Kabir, Volume 21, page 166)
Imam Ibn Kathir states,
"Until, when he reached the setting of the
sun" means he followed a certain way till he
reached the furthest land he could go from
the west. As for reaching the setting of the
sun in the sky, it is impossible. What
narrators and story tellers say about that he
walked for a period of time in earth while
the sun was setting behind him is unreal,
and most of it is from myths of People of the
Book and inventions of their liars.
"he found it set in a spring of murky
water" means he saw the sun according to
his vision setting in the ocean and this is the
same with everyone ending to the shore
seeing as if the sun sets inside it (i.e. the
ocean).
(Ibn Kathir, Tafsir-ul-Qur'ân Al-'Azim,
Volume 5, page 120. Published by Maktabat-
ul-Iman, Mansoura, Egypt)
I believe this is adequate to refute the
missionaries' imposed interpretation. And to
Allah is the Judgement in all affairs.
Christianity EtcMighty Kabex__: Scientific Blunders And Flaws In The Bible by MightyKabex(op): 7:12pm On Sep 29, 2015
Mighty Kabex:
Assalam aleykum warahmotullah wabarakatuh.....

To add salt to the injury of those claiming the infallibility of the already fallen bible,I shall present some foible evidences that will make it vivid that the bible was written by mysterious men and corrupted by savage and barbaric men.. Nairaland members.. Read this with sincere mind and verdict.. After reading this, you will concur with me that the bible really should be kept out of science classes. Let us begin,in sha Allah..

Sometimes, Christians try to support their
argument that the Bible is inspired by God
by using the argument that the Bible agrees
with Science! Some of the scientific facts
that Christians claim the Bible contain
include a statement about the human body
in Leviticus 17:11 that says "the life of the
flesh is in the blood...” However, it is a
statement primitive man could have made
because they could easily have observed on
experience that when a person loses enough
blood, they don't survive. Also, there is a
verse in the book of Job 26:7 that says “He
stretcheth out the north over the empty
place, and hangeth the earth upon
nothing.” This one may raise an eyebrow,
but the book of Job uses much metaphor in
its language (e.g. Job 26:11 “The pillars of
heaven tremble and are astonished at his
reproof.”)
Nevertheless, those verses do not invalidate
the verses below that prove the opposite.
Here are some FALSE scientific facts in the
"inerrant" Bible. How can an inerrant and
infallible Bible have FALSE scientific facts
such as these?
Christians may try to claim that the verses
below are only metaphors and not to be
taken literally. However, if that’s so, why
can’t we also take their cherished
theological doctrines such as the Salvation,
Atonement, and Crucifixion and claim that
those are metaphors too?
_let Mighty kabex show you some very grave and False scientific facts in the Bible_

"Insects do not have four feet.."
Lev 11:21 Yet these may ye eat of every flying
creeping thing that goeth
upon all four, which have legs above their feet,
to leap withal upon the
earth;
Lev 11:22 Even these of them ye may eat; the
locust after his kind, and
the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle
after his kind, and the
grasshopper after his kind.
Lev 11:23 But all other flying creeping things,
which have four feet,
shall be an abomination unto you.
They have six. In fact, NOTHING that can fly
has four feet.
Rabbits do not chew their cud
Lev 11:6 And the hare, because he cheweth the
cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean
unto you.
They only appear to, due to mistaken
human perception. How could an all
knowing God not know this?
Snakes, while built low, do not eat dirt nor
dust
Genesis 3:14 And the LORD God said unto the
serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art
cursed above all cattle, and above every beast
of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and
dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

"The bat is not a bird, yet that's what the bible says"
Lev 11:13 These are the birds you are to detest
and not eat because they are
detestable: the eagle, the vulture, the black
vulture,
Lev 11:19 the stork, any kind of heron, the
hoopoe and the bat.
Deu 14:11 You may eat any clean bird.
Deu 14:12 But these you may not eat: the
eagle, the vulture, the black vulture,
Deu 14:18 the stork, any kind of heron, the
hoopoe and the bat.
The bat is in fact a flying mammal.,yet that's what the bible said. That bat is a bird"

"Snails do not melt, yet that's what the bible said. Saying snails melt.. Are they ice-cubes?"
Psalm 58:8 As a snail which melteth, let every
one of them pass away: like
the untimely birth of a woman, that they may
not see the sun.

"The Earth is not flat, yet that's what the bible said"
Yet these verses indicate that the Earth must
either be flat, square or rectangle!
Isaiah 11:12 And he shall set up an ensign for
the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of
Israel, and gather together the dispersed of
Judah from the four corners of the earth.
Revelation 7:1 And after these things I saw four
angels standing on the four corners of the
earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that
the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on
the sea, nor on any tree.
How can the Earth have four corners if it's
sphere-shaped? Four corners indicate
either a flat, square or rectangular
structure!
Likewise, notice the structural disposition of
the Earth assumed by these verses.
Psalms 67:7 God will bless us, and all the
ends of the earth will fear him.
Psalms 135:7 He makes clouds rise from the
ends of the earth; he sends lightning with the
rain and brings out the wind from his
*storehouses*.
Proverbs 30:4 Who has gone up to heaven and
come down? Who has gathered up the wind in
the hollow of his hands? Who has wrapped up
the waters in his cloak? Who has established
all the ends of the earth? What is his name,
and the name of his son? Tell me if you know!
Isaiah 40:28 Do you not know? Have you not
heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the
Creator of the ends of the earth.
Isaiah 41:9 I took you from the ends of the
earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I
said, 'You are my servant'; I have chosen you
and have not rejected you.
Isaiah 5:26 He lifts up a banner for the distant
nations, he whistles for those at the ends of
the earth. Here they come, swiftly and
speedily!
Daniel 4:10-11 These are the visions I saw
while lying in my bed: I looked, and there
before me stood a tree in the middle of the
land. Its height was enormous. The tree grew
large and strong and its top touched the sky; it
was visible to the ends of the earth.
Zechariah 9:10 I will take away the chariots
from Ephraim and the war-horses from
Jerusalem, and the battle bow will be broken.
He will proclaim peace to the nations. His rule
will extend from sea to sea and from the River
to the ends of the earth.
Mark 13:26-27 At that time men will see the
Son of Man coming in clouds with great power
and glory. And he will send his angels and
gather his elect from the four winds, from the
ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.
Romans 10:18 But I ask: Did they not hear?
Of course they did: "Their voice has gone out
into all the earth, their words to the ends of
the world."
How can a round sphere have "ends"? Also,
in regard to Psalm 135:7, winds do not come
from storehouses! So much for Biblical
meteorology. And from Daniel 4:10-11, how
can a tree be tall enough to touch the sky?
Did the infallible Bible writers think that the
sky had a roof? Also from Daniel:
Daniel 4:20 The tree you saw, which grew large
and strong, with its top touching the sky, visible
to the whole earth...
No matter how tall that tree is, there's no
way it could be seen to the “ends of the
Earth” on a spherical body! Likewise,
Isaiah 18:3 All you people of the world, you
who live on the earth, when a banner is raised
on the mountains, you will see it, and when a
trumpet sounds, you will hear it.
Matthew 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into
an exceeding high mountain,
and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world,
and the glory of them;
Luke 4:5 The devil led him up to a high place
and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms
of the world.
Since astronomical bodies are spherical, you
cannot see the entire exterior surface from
anyplace on it, therefore you could not
technically see "all the kingdoms of the
world" from one point!
Next,
Proverbs 8:29 when he gave the sea its
boundary so the waters would not overstep his
command, and when he marked out the
foundations of the earth.
Zechariah 12:1 This is the word of the LORD
concerning Israel. The LORD, who stretches out
the heavens, who lays the foundation of the
earth...
A foundation structurally implies building a
basement to the ground first to lay the rest
above it!
Similarly,
Psalms 75:3 When the earth and all its
people quake, it is I who hold its pillars firm.
I guess the foundation of the world has
pillars holding it up too?
Of course, in defense Christians will try to
claim that these verses are only metaphors
or allegorical, and not to be taken literally.
But why don’t they take all the verses of
their cherished fundamental doctrines and
do the same as well? How do they decide
what is allegorical and what is literal? And
why should we trust their judgment on that?

"The Earth is not motionless, yet that's what the bible said""
Psalms 104:5 The Earth is firmly fixed;
it shall not be moved.
1 Chronicles 16:30 Tremble before him, all the
earth! The world is firmly established; it cannot
be moved.
The Earth is moving constantly 24 hours a
day in its path around the Sun!

"The moon is not a light, yet that's what the bible said"
Genesis 1:16 And God made two great lights;
the greater light to rule the day, and
the lesser light to rule the night: he made the
stars also.
The moon is not a light. You can only see it
glow only because of the sun's reflection off
of it. During some of its phases, you can't
even see it at all.

""Our sun is not the same age as the rest of the
stars, yet that's what the bible said""
Genesis 1:16 And God made two great lights;
the greater light to rule the day, and
the lesser light to rule the night: he made the
stars also.
Scientists have observed and dated many of
the stars in the universe to be millions or
even billions of years older than our sun.

"""Stars are not little balls of light close to the
Earth, yet that's what the bible said""

Revelation 6:12-14
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth
seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and
the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and
the moon became as blood; And the stars of
heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree
casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken
of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a
scroll when it is rolled together; and every
mountain and island were moved out of their
places.
The Bible authors obviously thought that the
stars were little balls of light that could fall
to the Earth. They had no idea how big and
how far away the stars actually are!
Wind is not held in storehouses
Psalms 135:7 He makes clouds rise from the
ends of the earth; he sends lightning with the
rain and brings out the wind from his
storehouses.
Anyone with even an elementary knowledge
of meteorology or basic science can tell you
that wind is not produced from
“storehouses”!
How can an inerrant book inspired by an all-
knowing God make false scientific facts such
as these?
Now, they can argue that the false scientific
facts in the Bible cited above are based on
an overly literal interpretation of the verses,
but again, who is to decide what is literal,
metaphorical, or allegorical? After all,
Christians can’t even agree amongst
themselves as to which of the prophecies of
the book of Revelation to take literally,
which to take allegorically, and which to
take as a little of each! And why can’t they
see their cherished doctrines of sin,
salvation, atonement, etc. as allegorical too?
Nevertheless, these verses demonstrate that
the Bible is not inerrant, which shatters the
absolute unquestionable authority of it that
Evangelists hope to foster. I hope we don't judge this proofs with bias mind and insult, for that's what most nairalandites are fond of doing. Thank you. Till my next post.

MightyKabex: ___ it is so pathetic to see how shallow minded some christians can be. I'm tired of christians manipulating the conspicuous truth about the sadistic book called bible.. A christian here said "he was baptised to fulfil all righteousness" .. This is so lame and irrelevant excuse which portrays how desperate you are. the biblical Jesus is everything but righteous. Considering a man that shall rot in hell for being abusive. The biblical Jesus said, "whosoever shall say, Thou
fool, shall be in danger of hell fire" (Matthew
5:22). Yet, he himself did so repeatedly, as
Matthew 23:17-19 and Luke 11:40 & 12:20
show. Clearly Jesus should be in danger of
hell too?.. Is this your definition of righteousness? How can a man who is so much fond of telling lies be righteous? I,mighty kabex, will help you with some of the lies of your messiah.. "Or have ye not read in the law, how that
on the Sabbath days the priests in the temple
profane the Sabbath, and are blameless?"
(Matthew 12:5) Nowhere does the OT state
that the priests in the temple profaned the
Sabbath and were considered blameless .
Why does jesus lie so much? In Luke 23:43 Jesus said to the thief on
the cross, "Today shalt thou be with me in
paradise." This obviously has to be false, for
Jesus was supposed to lay dead in the tomb
for three days following his crucifixion.
See how pathetic and false-tongued he is? "And no man hath ascended up to heaven,
but he that came down from heaven, but he
that came down from heaven, even the Son of
man which is in heaven" (John 3:13). If Jesus
is in heaven, how can he be down on earth
speaking? Why does the bible portray and convey the message of Jesus as a liar? So..the lame excuse your gave,is churlish and doesn't apply to my post. You're left with two choices.. Either the bible is a book of forgery,or Jesus was truly a bizzare and sinful character..I will advise you to study your bible well before posting a rebuttal on mighty kabex' post.

Assallam aleykum sallam warahmotullah..___
How many times have we heard this lame and
insipid excuse from christians,that Prophet
Muhammad isn't a prophet because he was a
sinner? Now..if we are to you use such
argument.. That also means Jesus is neither a
prophet, nor God nor son of God...because he
was also a sinner throughout the bible_
now, this might come as a shock to most
christians. But,Mighty imam will give you
some verses to consider. Let's take a look at
the bible. Did Jesus sin or not?______

Yes
Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist "for
the
remission of sins." If Jesus had never sinned,
there would be no reason for him to be
baptized. The excuse christians are fond of giving,is that "he baptised to fulifil the law" .. Which law? The same law christians abandon and consider immoral and unapproved? Note: matthew 5:17 promises hell for those who deny the old testament.. Now,beofre you crucify Mighty Kabex, let's see the reason for baptism as described in the bible. You shall see, that baptism is solely for the remission of sins..

"Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan
unto
John, to be baptized of him. Matthew 3:13
John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach
the baptism of "repentance" for the "remission"
of
sins. Mark 1:4

Jesus also committed the
following sins br /> He insulted his mother,
breaking the
commandment to honor his mother (Ex 20:12,
Dt 5:16)____
----While he yet talked to the people, behold,
his
mother and his brethren stood without,
desiring to speak with him. Then one said
unto
him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren
stand without, desiring to speak with thee. But
he answered and said unto him that told him,
WHO IS MY *MOTHER?* and WHO are my
brethren?
And he stretched forth his hand toward his
disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my
brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of
my
Father which is in heaven, the same is my
brother, and sister, and mother. Matthew
12:46-50
And it came to pass, as he spake these things,
a
certain woman of the company lifted up her
voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb
that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast
sucked. But he said, Yea rather, blessed are
they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
Luke 11:27-28
_________

Jesus also committed a grave sin because He
broke the Sabbath (Ex 20:8, Dt 5:12) and
therefore, according to Ex 31:15, should be
stoned to death.
Therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and
sought to slay him, because he had done these
things on the sabbath day. John 5:16
___________

He coveted a donkey (and/or a colt?), breaking
the commandment, "Don't covet." ( Ex 20:17, Dt
5:21].
Before christians start going haywire, let's see where Jesus coveted a donkey___

Go into the village over against you, and
straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt
with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.
Matthew 21:2____
Go your way into the village over against you:
and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall
find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose
him, and bring him. Mark 11:2
Another verse where Jesus coveted a donkey___; Go ye into the village over against you; in the
which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied,
whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and
bring him hither. Luke 19:30___

So,it is clear..that Jesus is a mortal and is also fallible to the pangs of sin.. So,before giving a person the attributes of divinity, study your bible well..

Islam is Almighty God's best way of relating
with mankind. And the essence of Islam is
holiness and utmost righteousness. We know
the the only foible difference between a Kufar

supported by the bible. In the bible,we see
that praying to God by bowing down,
"solat" ..is a very accepted and truthful way..
For we see many characters in the bible
praying to God in the islamic way.. Let's take a
