These guys will tell you that they want to hire you

Then they went ahead to give me a 3000 word test, Yes I didn't mince words, 3k words, who does that...

And after the 3k words, they said it didn't meet their requirement

That was the last I heard of them

I blame myself for being so gullible as to take a 3k words test

Do y'all know how long it takes to write a 3k words test

Please a test article shouldn't be more than 500 words

Y'all can apply but I'm just saying this so you won't have to come and do the same thing I'm doing now - crying under their job application

The test instructions clearly stated that we will only pay for test pieces that are usable. The test email also told you to only take the test if you are certain you can meet the requirements and that if you fail, you get to keep your content because we won't use it.

Everything was clearly spelt out upfront.

Apologies that we can't afford to pay for all low-quality and plagiarized pieces we receive.

As stated above, the job is not for everyone.. Only a fraction of the hundreds of applicants receive an in-depth look and make it to the test stage. Of the fraction that make it to the test stage, only an even smaller fraction get hired.

The test is also 3K words because we need to verify that you can keep up with work volumes. It helps us weed out those fazed by such work volumes.

The job is there for anyone who is qualified, very serious with their work and motivated.

It's NOT an easy, quick-money role for people who can't manage their time well or those looking to cut corners. It's also certainly not for fiction writers or news "bloggers."

Also, please do not apply if you're looking for part-time work. Most people can't combine it with another day job. Our best writers are freelancers with years of experience working from home.

We go through every application. If you didn't get a response, then your samples fell below our expected quality. No need to resend it.

Please note that failing to meet our standards doesn't make you a bad writer. You just don't fit the type of writers we're looking for.

P.S: We are always looking for quality writers. Don't hesitate to apply if you fit the mould regardless of when you see this post.
