LI series switches have only L2 features. If you need Inter VLAN routing and DHCP Server,you must have EI series switches (SI series don't support DHCP Server feature). I would suggest to go ahead with S1 Series for this requirement. Regards |

Upgrade the WS-C3750X-48T to the same IOS version as the WS-C3750X-12S. Make sure that all of the stack members have the same license level. |

The Cisco Catalyst 3750-X Series Switches with LAN Base feature set can only stack with other Cisco Catalyst 3750-X Series LAN Base switches. A mixed stack of LAN Base switch with IP Base or IP Services features set is not supported. |

Hi, The ports in question are 1000BASE-T ports as the document corretly specifies (ie. compliant to IEEE 802.3ab specification). The 1000BASE-TX standard (as prepared by ANSI/TIA/EIA not IEEE) has never reached the extent as expected and is currently rather dormant in my view. I believe that Cisco is aware that there are 2 different standards. My understanding is that when a port displays 10/100/1000BaseTX (and this is not specific to WS-C2960-48TT-L box) it actually means that it is compliant to 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T compatible devices.
